Little V — Restaurant in League City

The most robotic flat affect female manager. Poor eye contact, not a gimmick of smile or sympathy when addressing my concerns on my order of " Mushroom chicken". Your mushroom plate was very low in mushrooms, for so this restaurant should honor the quantity of it. The presentation of this plate was poorly appealing with shaved pieces of extremely white chicken pieces and low scattered small mushrooms cuts on the edge of plate obviously scattered purposely placed. I made the observation known to the manager, that I want my plate to be honored with plenty of Mushroom as the name in the menu. Her cold indifferent replied was "there will be a charge for more mushrooms". I said to bring me the mushrooms and charge it. Reason being was becausey frind and I was far from home and very hungry. Unfortunately I could not eat it, I lost my appetite. Will not recommend this place because the indifference and lack of customer sympathy of this specific manager and for the odyssey of naming a plate Mushroom chicken we're there is minimal amounts of it, they should have renamed this dish. When you order take out, Yummy Yummy is the bomb! 💣💯 We have loved it for years. We went to eat there for the first time a couple of weeks back. They use to advertise a free soup and egg roll with entree if you dine in. They don't do that anymore. The food was pretty good, but I have one issue that made me not want to eat AT the restaurant ever again. When I got my plate I was shocked. If you order in, you get a lot less on your plate than if you get take out for the same dish (and no soup and egg roll). Also the restaurant was empty, except for people coming in to pick up food. So not that fun for the kids even though they have a decent kids menu. The fries and nuggets were crispy and good. The lomein was a little heavy on the oil, if you have an issue with that, even though the flavor was good.

So....Only take out/delivery from now on from Little V. That's my recommendation. But I think In this economy, a buffet is more bang for your buck! One $ entree = $ buffet 🤷especially if you're tired of staying at home. Delivery is this...

I will start with the smell that hit us as soon as we walked in. It was almost like a bad well water smell. We almost left but because we had heard great things we decided to stay. We ordered a family meal which came with 2 entrees, 2 soups, 2 egg rolls and 2 of those cream cheese puffs. (Not calling them crab because there was no crab) I personally feel like this is plenty of food and the price was $30 which is good for that amount of food. The food was hot which is good and the flavor was on point. Their hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had. My plate had more onions than anything and only a few pieces of beef. The taste was amazing though. My husbands had wonderful fresh vegetables and plenty of meat. The service was good. They constantly refill your drinks and check in you. I think this is a solid 4 stars if the smell had not thrown us off. *Covid related. They have signs that state you are required to wear a mask if you are not fully vaccinated. OK.
