I’ve always loved my experience with James Avery, however this location has left a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth and I will NOT be returning.
On 12/21, my boyfriend dropped my bracelet off to be serviced(my clasp had broken), he was told it will be ready for pick up the next day. I went to go pick my bracelet up on 12/22, and noticed that there was a gap in my bracelet & that i was missing a charm, i knew for a fact i had no spaces left on my bracelet(images will be attached).
I asked the lady who was assisting me what happened and why was there a gap in my bracelet, she asked another lady, I’m assuming a lead or manager, who told me that “they didn’t know what happened” & “all that was done was a clasp replacement”. I explained to her that i was aware of that & that wasn’t the issue. The issue was i was missing a charm. She refused to look into anything or ask who serviced my bracelet if something may have happened or anything, because i know for a fact that i was not missing any charms on my bracelet, but tried to make me feel like as if i did not know what was on MY bracelet! I am missing a very noticeable elephant charm! This location will NOT be getting my business ever again. This James Avery is closer to my house, the employees there are always helpful, apologize if there is a wait, and most importantly helped me with a Christmas gift after ordering online before the engraving deadline an error occurred and I was not notified. At the beginning of this week I was wondering why I had not gotten a shipping email, so I went to check my order and nothing was found. I called James Avery customer service and was told the order had an error with Apple Pay. I understand why I wasn’t allowed to know anything about the banking information, but James Avery could’ve sent an email stating my order had an error. Instead I am left with no gift to give my husband on our first Christmas together. I called this James Avery location in need of getting the gift I wanted to get my husband and they had two in stock, unfortunately this is way past the engraving timeline to have delivered for Christmas. The lady handed the bracelet to me inside a ziplock bag. While every costumer there was offered a bag, the right packaging. It felt wrong. It was my first time there so I’m wasn’t sure about it. So I left and called them to confirm it, They said the promo comes with box and paper bag! wow! Been to a lot of jewelry shops and this is the first time that the jewelry in a ziplock bag!
