I walked in ready to celebrate a business win on the way home. Dressed in my business attire and all. It wasn’t too busy so I decided to sit at the bar. I was barely greeted except for a “hey”. No hi how are you, just tosses menu in front of me and says, do you already know what you want? Again, happy and just ready to be off; I chose from another option and ordered my simple food. Her response was is that it? I said yep. She took the menu and left. They were out of everything I wanted. She stated only thing they had cold was an Apple beverage, which I wasn’t interested in. Since she seemed to be so bothered by my mere presence - I responded don’t worry about it, just make my food to go. Barely had the words left my lips, Abigail quipped back, I already made your food To-go. I took a deep breath and closed my lips. Clearly I wasn’t wanted there and my money was no good.
She then returned the same way she entered, tossed the check on the bar in front of me, no thank you. No trying to be kind. Just passively rude and disrespectful. I was both shocked and too tired to even deal with it. Simple bill was $11.42, I tipped her $11 and wrote it was a growing opportunity after writing on the check that her disposition was awful. I also wrote that she should slow down and talk to her customers, No matter what they look like. As I’m walking out I had the pleasure of seeing her warmly greet others as they came in the door and wondered to myself how come I didn’t get the same treatment. I waited tables a long time and know what behavior is dismissive, rude, abrupt and bothered. Abigail will hopefully take something out of this and be kind to all people. She’s doing that restaurant a disservice with that type of behavior. I should’ve just gone to Little Vs and spent my $22 elsewhere. As I left I didn’t make a scene but whispered to the young man at the desk that she was disgustingly rude. He apologized but damaged was...
Read moreI took my kids to eat at an Asian fusion restaurant on League City Parkway. My kids ordered their usual crab salad (which typically has snow crab and sometimes a crunchy topping, there was no description so we assumed it was like everywhere else) like we do at other places. However, what we got was a bowl of lettuce with mashed-up crab sticks and some kind of dressing. My 4-year-old tried one bite and immediately said it didn’t taste good, so I returned both salads.
When I went to pay, I noticed they only removed one of the salads from the bill. When I asked about it, the owner(I'm assuming) YELLED at me, claiming we had eaten all the crab from the salad. I asked him to check the camera footage, as the salad had only been on our table for less than a minute before we pushed it aside for the server to collect. Instead, he brought the bowl from the back and showed me what was left in it. I explained that what was returned was what was served to us minus the bute my daughter tried. Again, I asked him to pull the camera footage, but he refused.
He then proceeded to loudly accuse me of lying, yelling so loudly that my kids could hear him from the front of the restaurant, near the sushi bar. The $7 charge wasn’t the issue—it was the way I was treated. He served a tiny amount and assumed we had eaten it all, then called me a liar and refused to check the camera.
I paid and left, but I’ll never return. The whole restaurant witnessed the interaction, and I apologize to anyone who was there trying to enjoy a peaceful late lunch while this...
Read moreI would never come back to this restaurant. The sushi chef/owner was very rude. He doesn’t know how to handle negative concerns. I orders 2 salmon rolls, 1 California , 2 pc salmon nigiri and beef broccoli and Garlic shrimp. My son ate the first piece of salmon nigiri. He said it’s doesn’t tasted fresh and he ate the second piece. He threw up. At this point we done eating . I called the waiter over to tell him that the salmon nigiri wasn’t fresh. The waiter said the salmon is fresh. He went to talk the sushi chef/owner. After the waiter didn’t say anything to me. So I asked for the check. Got the check and went to pay. The sushi chef/owner comes to the cash register and I told him that the salmon nigiri was not fresh. We didn’t eat the rest of our food, still 3 rolls on the table. He was rude and arguing with me. He said he knows that I came here some time but not regular and he said every time I come I ordered salmon and I said it’s not fresh. I said not every time, I have been come this place over 2 years. This was my second time I complained about the salmon not being fresh. I ordered the same things every time I came here. I told him that I’m not here to argue with you. I wanted you to know if serve raw fish and it’s not fresh. We can get food poise. He didn’t care what I said. I paid my bill and add tip. He didn’t say Thank you after I paid my bill...
