My wife and I have 4 kids, 2 are grown, 2 still live at home,and attend high school. We have, and continue to attend numerous sporting events,etc. We have tried different stadium seats ( mainly her). However, the parents of one of my daughters teammates,had a stadium seat that we had never seen before. Upon further investigation,we found out that they bought them at West Marine. My wife ordered each of us one ( they are kinda pricey, but worth it). The one my wife ended up with worked fine,on the other hand, we/I had trouble with mine, from the start. Fast forward nine months, and I am just now getting around to trying to exchange the seat. It was, however, like new, because I never could get it to work right. They were a little reluctant at first, because I waited so long, but nonetheless, they graciously agreed to exchange the seat for a brand new one, right off of the shelf. Needless to say, " Happy Camper"! But, to go a step or two further, the store itself is quite nice. They have a treasure trove of stuff for maintaining, and repairing, RV's and boats. They also have a nice selection of apparel, and shoes, coolers, and many other miscellaneous items. Also, to my surprise, they have multiple locations. Read moreI rated them two stars, but it’s Mostly due to my most recent experience. I went to the store, looking for help replacing a fuse panel in my boat and was treated very harshly by the staff member I reached out to for help. When I asked what options I had to replace my broken part, I was told there weren’t any and I should just call the boat manufacturer. the part I needed was a simple blade fuse panel (old one was made by Bussman) and I said I had hoped to just add a new updated piece and get something local that way if I need support or to replace it in the future I could. I was told by the associate that he had worked there for 15 years and they had never offered anything like what I was looking for and I had better off looking for someone else to do my work. I am no rookie when it comes to home repairs and DIY But I thought the attitude was a bit harsh and if there truly is no other option, could’ve been delivered a little better. Read moreWalked into the store went to the gps section, no one wanted to help us. Bought a gps after finally getting some help. They didn’t understand what I was asking for since the gps is for work and not pleasure. Turns out the system was not only complicated but it also deleted routes. After 10,000 points. Was told I could not return the item due to it being used for one day. Was not told about the return policy at all. On the back of the receipt it says 30 days. They told me on the website the return policy is used items can not be returned. When someone buys something that’s over 500.00 you should probably tell them about the return policy to make sure they got the right product, instead of just saying it’s on the back of the receipt.
