Old Town Street Festival — Local services in Leander

I do t understand why the city needs to to have patron exchange cash or card for plastic tokens which then only some vendors can take. Then as a patron if you buy to many refused to exchange back into cash. I had to fight for 10 minutes to get refunded while being told to try and ask other patrons to buy them from me first. And then a city employee told me that it was not the policy to refuse an exchange after this long argument. Had a lovely morning at the Old Town Street Festival. Lots for kids, and my 2 year old loved the petting zoo. Good music, and a nice atmosphere. The 5k headed down the road with all the vendors, which was a bit sudden and unorganised with us all having to jump out of the way of the lead vehicle, and being shouted at on the return of the runners down the same road.
