The people are very nice and this store sells very nice merchandise but their service leaves a little to be desired. I dropped off my beautiful wedding and engagement set to get an estimate to have the band improved. (It was a two piece drop in and I wanted to have the band made in to one solid piece.) After 2 weeks waiting to get an estimate, I finally called and was informed that the work had already been done. I panicked! I had not approved anything! I immediately drove to the store and was shown my ring. The work was not even close to what I wanted and I was presented with a $140.00 bill that they actually expected me to pay!!! The store manager/owner talked with me for a few minutes and tried to smooth everything over and even "magnanimously" offered to only charge me 1/2 price. I reluctantly paid the $76+- to get my ring back. (no choice). Needless to say, I have spared no effort in spreading the word about the horrible service that I received at Wiggins. Buyer beware! Unprofessional, poor service, poor communication and no accountability for...
Read moreI have been wearing my ring everyday for 20 years. The bezel setting broke and I was told by Lafayette Jewelers that only an artisan proficient with a laser welder would be able to repair it. They recommended Cox Jewelers in Lebanon. I went there and found they retired and closed shop. Feeling defeated, I drove up Main Street and happily found Winfrey Jewelers. The gal there told me to go to Wiggins Jewelers right up the street and that is where I would find Shay. He is the Super Star Laser Welder and all the Jewelers I met along the way were very generous sending me to find someone at another jewelry store. It turned out Shay was with Cox Jewelers before they closed. He did a beautiful job. I am so pleased. There are two wonderful sisters who own and run Wiggins Jewelers, Jana and Jeanne. They are lovely people who are so personable and professional. It was a joy meeting them. BTW, I dropped off my ring for repair on Oct 21st and picked it up on Oct. 27th...only...
Read moreI had a problem with a Wiggins Watch my wife gave to me for our anniversary 10 years ago. The stem came completely out while I was traveling and had to be replaced. They told me they would give me an estimate before sending it out. I waited 2 weeks and did not hear from them so I called. First they told me they had no record of receiving the watch. Later they called back and said they found it under my wife's name. They called back a couple days latter with the estimate to fix the watch. $135 seems like an awful lot of money to replace the watch stem. It then took another couple weeks waiting on the repair. I had to do it because this was a gift from my wife. Not really happy with this whole...
