I came here last night on 11-29-23 right before closing not being from the area. The cashier was the rudest human I’ve come across in a long time. He had an attitude the entire time I was very nice and patient asking him a question about the burritos. He never looked or acknowledged me not once. The final straw for me when I almost lost it was when my food was ready they called my number so I went up to get it. There was a burrito in a bag beside him they just placed there so I assumed it was mine since he never acknowledged me at all or told me anything where I was getting my order since I walked in the door. I reached for the bag, this guy slams his Hand down so hard hitting my hand as well in the act and gives me the meanest/most evil look with no words once again just pointed too the left. I apologized and was confused why he had been acting this way since I stepped in the building, but he just looks at me disgusted once again and looks back down. Safe to say I will not be visiting this place again. The cooks and other workers were so generous and the food was amazing. Thankfully my parents raised me right and I give people grace, but that’s no excuse to treat someone like a piece of trash. This guy should be fired that’s not acceptable in any workplace environment and I do not want anyone going thru what I did cause after this guy slammed his hand where mine was making contact others could’ve reacted very...
Read moreOf the faster service Mexican food joints about 30 minutes from me, this is by far the closest I have experienced to what I could find in quality/likeness to what I have experienced while living most of my life in CO. First time taking my family here for a meal, we tried a smorgasbord/variety of items, including a few tacos (of various meat choices), the Torta Cubana, chips and dip, burrito, and tamales. All were very tasty. The Torta Cubana, though good (and packed w/ meat), was surpassed by the red (pork) tamales and the street tacos. The burrito is a good item. Though have preference for the other items, this is a good size (and feeds our 6 & 7 year old daughters). And as much as I like Al Pastor taco, I actually prefer the Pollo (chicken) and Carne Asada (steak) tacos. In fact, make it a point to get the hot sauces (either the red or green) to spice these up. And if you like it, try their hotter (must picante) sauce...has a nice smokey flavor to it. The homemade Jimaica tea is pretty good, though prefer the Horchata. And plenty of other Mexican sodas to purchase. Least favorite item is the salsa that comes with the chip and salsa appetizer. Unfortunately that salsa was a bit on the sweet side. Not sure if that was a one off experience, but still wasn't our favorite. Lastly - and when feeding a family of five (5), not too shabby when the meal is around $40 even with a tip. Can't get that at Taco...
Read moreI have only had the tacos a couple of times and they were pretty good. The service from a guy who claimed to be the person who does all the "ordering" for them was rude...I mean very rude when I requested pickled carrots and jalapenos, which I have requested before and was given them.... This guy told me they don't have "pickled carrots" and said it in a very ugly rude tone... I said I was just here yesterday and yall gave them to me? He was just flat out rude about it...he was not friendly and to me that's part of the dining experience .. the customer service is not consistently positive and welcoming...not so sure if I will go back... can't tolerate rude customer service...behind some pickled carrots/onions/ jalapenos....why not get them anyways... it adds extra flavor to the corn tortilla street tacos... #customerserviceisimportant
