The worse AT&T store around. I purchased a new IPhone 6S exactly two years ago along with insurance. At the time they had me believe that my phone was covered from breakage, lost/stolen, or if it stops working; I would get a new phone under their insurance. WRONG! My phone did stop working, it just died. I took it in yesterday and after waiting almost an hour, the sales person did a brief testing and said it was probably the mother board and I should go to the Apple store which is 1.5 hours away. I stated I had insurance so he handed me a booklet saying to call the # and it may be faster. After trying several times to call this # and only getting automated prompts that kept telling me they didn't recognize me, I called Apple and spoke to a real person. I have third party insurance I was told. It has nothing to do with Apple nor am I entitled to a new phone. The rep was very nice and said this isn't the first time she's heard this; that AT&T gives the buyer the illusion that you take this insurance, you'll get a new phone if necessary. ProTech, the insurance does not give you a new phone, they give you a refurbished phone and most likely the components are not apple components. She suggested we go to the Apple store anyway and perhaps they could repair it for a nominal fee. We arrive 1.5 hours later and it was overly crowded, The techs on the floor were very nice but we had to wait another hour plus. Finally a nice young man called me and did an extensive diagnostic test to find out the logistic board was "fried". There are many reasons this can happen but unfortunately, we were out of warranty, we didn't have AppleCare, their insurance and my only option was to buy another phone. So at the tune of another $800, I purchased another phone. So in two years, I spent over $1600 for a phone plus the insurance cost. I will be calling AT&T directly to file a formal complaint; I'm cancelling their service and going over to another carrier. Do yourself a favor, don't buy your phone from anyplace other than an Apple store. And don't buy their third party insurance. It's a...
Read moreGino was the one person with AT&T that actually helped with my phone problem. My phone would not accept calls nor allow me to make calls. When I went to the AT&T store that I purchased the phone from, I was told that my problem was because I had done an IOS update, which was not the case, I was simply being dismissed. I knew I needed to go to another store for help. When Gino heard my problem, he called the appropriate parties and although it took a few calls so that the details involving my phone’s insurance and warranty information was reviewed and not just passed off. Gino would not give up until the correct information was confirmed and a new phone was sent to me under the insurance I had purchased. Brandon works at the same location and when I came in with the new phone, he helped get the new phone activated. Both men treated me so kindly and were so helpful, never once did they dismiss me, they HELPED me and I will be forever grateful. I will refer all my friends and family to Gino and Brandon knowing they will receive the excellent service that I...
Read moreThis was the WORST experience I have ever had with a wireless carrier. My sister and I went in to see about adding a line with a new phone, upgrading the phone on an existing line, and leaving one line totally untouched. Lemme tell you, it was a disaster. The person ran my sister's credit cards (two cards) so many times they were both shut off because the banks thought there was fraudulent activity. Both banks called while we were there. The next day our two phones were delivered but one line was suspended and come to find out two additional phones were scheduled to be delivered the same day. Her discount was not applied, the bill was wrong and she has spent countless hours on the phone trying to get it straightened out. I'm not mad at the guy that helped us but it should not have been this difficult. We got a very small credit for our trouble but it was not worth our time. Fair warning. Don't have high expectations... You'll be...
