Due to their limited hours, I’ve always wanted to, but haven’t been able to try this place. Friday, I ordered a Cuban sandwich with a side of plantains to go. I was driving out of the parking lot and opened the side container and saw tostones. I like those too so I started eating at the stop sign when a guy I recognized from the restaurant ran up to the car telling me to wait. The lady who took my order came up behind him and told me I got the wrong thing-I told her that it was ok bc I started eating it but she insisted on bringing the plantains bc they were already made. thank you to the person waiting behind me at the stop sign. So the food. It was all great, loved the Cuban, the plantains, the tostones (although I needed a little sauce with them) and the surprise 3 wing sections under the tostones! Y'all I did it again. I found an excellent restaurant I missed. Bori Burger @ 441 and Center Street. Right across from Bank of America. Just one block or so south of all those horrible corp fast food joints. I love giving my money to small Mom & Pop places serving up home cooking!! Open for breakfast and lunch. They are making the BEST Cuban sandwich I've had in 20 years, seriously. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The sandwich and rice and beans I got was delicious. So glad I found them. I've been looking for great Cuban food. The lady at the counter snuck in a plantain. I said I didn't want because of the sugar. I was wrong, no sugar lol Everything was very good. UPDATE MAY 4, 2022 Today we tried a restaurant in The Villages who touts their famous Cuban Sandwiches. No comparison. However they prepare their pulled pork for the sandwich deserves an award. Tender, moist, flavorful, yummy. Bori wins hands down and thumbs up. 🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲👍👍👍👍👍
So we keep passing this restaurant with the sign in the window. BEST CUBAN SANDWICHES Finally had time and a hungry stomach, so I stopped in.

Yes, it was the best Cuban sandwich my husband and I have ever eaten. The pork is so tender, juicy and tasty.
The staff was very sweet and friendly.
