So let's start with a few positive things. The restaurant was easily as clean or cleaner than Chick Fil A. The bathroom was spotless, and the staff was friendly. But that's really where the similarities end. I really don't like my order taken by someone missing half their teeth, not well kept, and keeps calling me "baby" "sugar" and "honey". Maybe some of you are into that, but I'm not. Of course as soon as you walk in you notice signs everywhere stating they are out of sammiches until they don't know when. I order my food and succumb to a bit of high pressure to buy two apple pies for x amount of dollars. I'm in sales, so I don't actually mind a little bit of pushiness there. But keep in mind, people are comparing Popeyes to Chick Fil A. We order our food and are told that it's going to be an 8 minute wait on biscuits. Not to worry, they'll give me an extra piece of chicken for my inconvenience. And I wasn't going to eat the biscuit anyway. They I'm told it'll be a 6 minute wait on the chicken, lol. Meanwhile, you can hear the manager in the background yelling to the front that it's a 12 minute wait on spicy chicken (I ordered spicy). My friend ordered Red Beans and Rice and hold the rice. The staff person up front asked the manager how to input that, which he quickly assisted. Of course 15 minutes later when we got our food his red beans did in fact include the rice, but did not include the two high pressure apple pies. That was but a minor inconvenience, but again, I've been eating at Chick Fil A for 10 years and to this day, they have NEVER messed up my order. Look, if Popeyes wants to go heads up against any of the other giants like Mcdonalds, Wendy's, KFC, that's fine. But none of those places are in the same league as Chick Fil A. It's not just a sammich but the total package. Clean and friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Orders precisely taken and delivered. We could go on and on. But I think you get the point. As average fast food restaurants go, this Popeyes was better than most in the area, by A LOT. But it was a 7 to...
Read moreI placed a $160 order for a crew of 11 working on my house. I downloaded their app and placed the order. It's almost 10 miles from my house. When I got to the store to pick it up they had all the doors locked, and signs stating "Sorry Maintenance issues". I knocked on the door to see if I could get them to cancel my order and refund me the $160. The lady inside just threw her hands in the air and pointed at the sign. I held my phone up to the window and yelled to tell her I need a refund. She just turned away and after I continued to knock on the window she went in the back so I couldn't see her anymore. I went across the street to KFC and purchased from them and headed back to my house. While I was waiting on the KFC I used the Popeyes app to put in a claim. On the way back to my house I looked at my phone and seen Popeyes had sent me an email. The Customer Service rep (what a joke) demanded that I send pictures showing that the store was closed. I guess they don't know how to call the store to verify they are closed. Demanded to provide the burden of proof, how can this be a Customer Service procedure! Anyways I had to get the KFC back to the crew. I then drove back (20 mile round trip) to get the pictures. I submitted the pictures but in the meantime they sent me another email saying my claim was closed. I have emailed, called and I get nothing. They processed my payment and it doesn't look like they have any plans on refunding me. A week later I went to the store and talked to the manager, he said there was nothing he could do and that he was on a very important phone call. I have never experienced anything like this, not even close. Oh I forgot to mention that when I went back for the pictures there were 2 employees sitting at a table, when I tried to get them to get the manager one of them gave me the "I'm on break" motion with his hands and just laughed at me. They did write "closed" on top of the signs by the time I went back for...
Read moreI order my CATERING order on Thursday morning for Saturday. Talked with the manager multiple times to get this right and went over payment. Saturday at 11:30 I called (my order was scheduled for pick up at 12) to ensure my order would be ready. The person I spoke with said yes it’s almost ready you can send someone to pick it up. My employee got there a little before 12 and didn’t get the food back to us till almost 1:30 because your employee wasn’t sure if they could take a check, which the manager I spoke with should have made her aware that I was bringing a check. So my food had to sit and wait an hour and a half because of your lack of communication?? Next issue, I order six catering sides that feeds 24 people NOT the large sides that feed 3, which is what was given to us? I have 60 people to feed and that’s what you provide?? I come up Monday morning 10/18 to speak to the manager she was not there at the time. I came back the very next morning. Sara apologized for the mistakes. The district manager said “Do whatever it takes to make it right” which I agree with because this is a bad representation of your company. Only for her to Involve the general manager who offered me a 50 piece to make up for the almost 200 pieces of chicken I ordered along with six catering sides and many biscuits and then had the nerve to ask me why I didn’t speak up sooner??! Are you kidding me. This was catering for my work place which I don’t work weekends so In trusted in your employees to make it correctly! When i returned to work Monday I went right to Popeyes first thing in the morning as I did today as well! At this point I just want our money back as I’m being questioned why I waited so long? Which I messaged your manager on Saturday about this situation?! Absolutely absurd. Hope to be hearing from someone soon since the GM won’t respond to the manager I have been speaking with and was told the district manager will not contact me either. You need to...
