I’ve purchased multiple items throughout the span of 5 weeks after getting back into the hobby from a 10 year hiatus. Traxxas cars mainly; mini revo vxl, rustler 4x4 vxl, mini slash, trx4m and the boat that caused the one star. To get to the point. The owner sold me a used jet boat that they did not disclose crack damage on body then when I took it out on its madden voyage the impeller on the jet drive exploded, (unrelated to the crack) damaging the housing to the jet pump, allowing water into the boat, my investment is a lost cause(cannot get parts for it). Just a bit annoyed it seems like multiple issues were hidden, the owner said he was selling it for a friend so it’s not like he didn’t know its history/flaws he was also quick to mention the upgrades it had, put it in the box and rush me to check out. I’ve spent over 1500 bucks there to now have a bitter taste, I tried to call a few times after finding the crack before I ran it to see if I can return it but didn’t get an answer. The one dude with long hair and a SNAPON hat is awesome, knows what he’s doing and talks about and I know would’ve pointed the issue out. AVOID THE OWNER, SCUMMY GUY quick to make a buck but not look out for those in the hobby.The other employee didn’t catch his name but he didn’t seem to want to help/couldn’t be bothered the only time I’ve seen him. Please ensure you put as is signs on your used equipment because this unit didn’t. What can let’s race do to make this right? To be honest I don’t think they’ll care because it was purchased used. I’m now out $200, I could understand if I crashed it and destroyed the hull but the damage is only on the outlet of the jet pump where it meets the hull. Long story short they sell used equipment without testing it or consistently putting as is signs. I definitely would’ve taken a closer look before purchasing if it said as is anywhere near it. If it’s not new in box do not buy from here otherwise they will lead you to believe the last owner sold it because they barely used it not that...

DO NOT RECOMMEND! My husband Bought a $250 little water boat to take out on our actual boat. We used it ONCE and noticed it lost charge fast. We assumed we didn’t let it charge all the way as the guy at the counter told us it was only half charged although we did leave it on charger until it indicated it was charged. Next boat trip the little boat literally lasted 3 minutes. We took it back to the race hobby store to see what the problem was because at that point it had only been 17 days since purchase. We even asked if we could put down MORE money and upgrade to the more expensive one.. we where told they do t take back used items (other then using it how where we to know there was an issue!?) The younger guy went in the back and “ran some test” and ultimately said it was the charger. And replaced it with a new one, he showed us how to use it and really made it seem like it was a good deal. We left feeling good. Get home to try to charge it and the indicator lights are indicating a error, we take a closer look and there is corrosion on the battery! At this point we are talking less then 1 month and only 2 times in the water (if you count the 3 mins on the second trip) and $250 + tax later . Go in again today to see why it’s STILL not working and get told “THERE ISNT MUCH WE CAN DO FOR YOU” !

Poor customer service WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Go somewhere that can stand by...

After a few trips of trying to give them a chance I’ll never be back. I’ve bought two trucks and parts in the past month. It’s like the employees don’t want customers. Don’t know their inventory and get annoyed when you ask questions. I tried today just to get my own parts off the wall and that made them mad too. Zero customer service and you can’t help yourself so there’s no point in going. Please save yourself from one of the worst shopping experiences you will ever have. I hope the owner fires the miserable guy with long hair that hates to work it’s killing his business. I love small businesses but won’t support this one. Just order what you need online and get it the next day. This is my first 1 star review in my life and not happy I can’t give...
