As a new arrival to this base, I needed a haircut and chose this salon for convenience. I requested a high skin fade, a style I’ve had done many times without issue. The stylist, wearing a face mask, spoke softly with an accent, making it difficult to understand her. She mumbled something about a ‘fade,’ and I confirmed, assuming she understood my request.

However, there was a miscommunication, and she proceeded to cut only a small portion at the bottom of my hair. When I clarified that I wanted a high skin fade, she became defensive, insisting it was my fault for the misunderstanding and stating she’d need to charge me double to complete the cut. After the additional work, my hair still didn’t look right, and I was disappointed with the final result.

Despite my concerns, the stylist and her coworker continued to push for the double charge of $34, excluding a tip, for a quick, subpar haircut. I ultimately spoke with the manager, who agreed to charge me only for a standard style cut at $20, bringing my total to $23 with tip. Unfortunately, this was an unsatisfactory experience, both in terms of the haircut quality and customer service.

I went inside knowing some of y’all cut hair fine. I walk in and this lady(don’t know her name) when she first saw me she had a mean look on her face. I told her low skin fade and trim top and bangs, she completely did a medium fade and then butchered the back of my head and cut way to short and cut down on my cowlick way to short so now I can’t do anything about what looks like a bald spot on the back of my head. For the love of god have people in there that know how to cut hair and deal with cowlicks and crowns. Cause now I gotta go out looking like a rat.

I won't be coming back here after the experience I had. The barbers were late opening up the store, about 20 minutes late and there was only one barber opening the shop at the time. Second, retired military show up to get their cut. There is only one shop here and active duty should have priority. You are retired, go off post and get your haircut. Also, your retired, why are you still trying to act like your in the military? Third, why are you military parents bringing your kids into the shop? Go off post and do it. Stop trying to be cheap. On that note, if your kid is misbehaving, please don't raise your voice at your kid in front of other people, and especially don't hit your kid in public. How would you like it if I hit you?
