3 people working. All very rude. I wanted a waffle cone well all 3 of us did. They have one machine, that same person who makes those and dips ice cream, then the guy at the register just stared at us. Rude or on something. And the third person was bagging up candy, no one greeted us. Our kids went today and said the same no one greeted them so they walked out. My waffle cone had lots of burned flesh Ms in it. My sisters wasnt all the way done, they put icecream in a hot waffle cone. My brother in law ate a regular cone as it was going to 6 mins for the next one.

We LOVE this place! The store itself is small, but mighty. There is almost always a line out the door when we go, but the employees keep the line moving, which is admirable! We don’t get candy here, but they have a good selection for the small space. We always get ice cream when we stop here. A single scoop is the perfect size for us. The chocolate ice cream is rich and the Java Chip has such a refreshing coffee flavor that it keeps you coming back for another bite. The bowls and spoons (if I’m not mistaken) are also sustainably sourced. How cool! (Pun intended)

Cute little candy shop located right in Fish town. Obviously it's a niche shop that you swing in when visiting the area. The whole litte area is rustic/shanty by design and Dam Candy fits snuggly right in. The shop itself is tiny but they squeeze as many sweets as possible into that handful of square footage. My kids love the mix and match bags. Alitte of this, alittle of that, everyone gets there favorite, and trying to decide which candy out of the large selection only adds to the fun. And as a bonus, ice cream!

Hanging tough for YEARS, The Dam Candy Store has remained a Fishtown favorite--even with competition nearby. This tiny shop delivers big on charm and value, offering the best prices you'll find in the county for ice cream and sweets. The Superman ice cream is a fan-favorite, scooped into house-made waffle cones that smell like pure childhood joy. Inside, you'll find a rainbow of jelly beans, locally sourced taffy, gummies, sours, chocolates, and more--all sold by the weight.

Whether you're feeding your sweet tooth or picking up a treat for someone special, this is the place to stop. The friendly staff and cozy, sugar-scented shanty only add to the experience. A Historic Fishtown tradition...

Neat little candy and ice cream shop. Nice, but small selection of chocolates, wrapped candy, jelly beans & ice cream. A bit high priced which is the reason for the 4 stars. I’ve had the chocolates and ice cream, they’re both very good. The young teen girls working there aren’t the friendliest which is sad. When you’re spending your money and basically paying their wages, you’d expect a smile or a “You’re welcome” after saying thank you. Again, a reason for only 4 stars. So-so place. You’d be better off going to one of the fudge shops as they also have pretty much the same items and a...
