This museum is a true treasure for anyone interested in local history. The curator is both knowledgeable and delightful, making the experience engaging and welcoming. Exhibits are creative, well-organized, and make excellent use of the space - never feeling crowded, but always full of detail. I first visited a few years ago for the wooden boat show and was impressed then, but the museum has only gotten better since. Nice little museum, Loaded with local historical items. The curator was extremely knowledgeable on local & Michigan history it was a pleasure talking with her.
