My mistake was to try and simply buy a bag of ice on the Saturday, 4 days before July 4th, 2018. While the store employees were cordial the patrons definitely we're NOT! Trying to be in line with nothing in my hand was like being in a roller derby! I know you may think that the patrons shouldn't effect my rating of the store... But in my defense, the effort to maximize product shelf space for greater availability for the tourist season compromises the chance for a pleasant shopping experience for us out-of-town people... That is... those of us that are the TOURISTS that demand greater product choices. I for one don't need 5 different kinds of "Chicagoland's" greatest new things!!!

They were very assuming as to our intentions and made insulting comments based on their preconceived ideals of motorcycle riders. We will ride that scenic route many more times, but we will never stop...

Don’t skip the local baked goods near checkout—especially the cookies from Sisson’s, which disappear fast. There’s a small parking lot out front, but drivers aren’t always the most alert—it's often easier to park on the street or elsewhere in town and stroll over. My only wish? Slightly later hours in the summer would make this spot even...
