Tug Stuff — Local services in Leland Township

This little shanty is undeniably charming and always stocked with cute, tug-themed items -- but the prices have crept up quite a bit over the years. Paying $42 for a long-sleeve tee with just a small, embroidered tug feels excessive when similar shirts go for a fraction of the price elsewhere. It's disappointing to see something that once felt like a celebration of tugboat history lean toward profit over purpose. The staff tends to be distracted -- often on their phones or gossiping -- and one instance of someone smoking inside the wood shanty while handling cash left a lasting impression. I have mixed feelings: love the theme, but not sure it's still...

Hours are odd, waited on a Saturday morning forever for it to open, someone was late- and gave up waiting. Next time around got there upon closing so was rushed 6PM feels early for Summer when waiting for a table at the Cove would be a prime time for tourists to spend some $$ and walk through. Sad to say stock is always low on sizes - especially mens - and while it's cute- miss the original "Fishtown" logo down the sleeves. Not a fan of the new line 'Tug Life' particularly when it's on amazon for 1/2 the price. Great for kids to have a cute souvenir shirt and represent the special place - of Leland. So much potential here, just...

Tug Stuff apparel and accessories are as much a nastalgic nod to my childhood and growing up in Leland, as they are an iconic representation of Fishtown and its history. I grew up wearing the sweatshirts and hats as a kid flying around town on my bike or building a bonfire on the beach, and I love that I get to now outfit my own kids and family in similar gear. They're now my husband and kids favorite things to wear - and always a great gift for any friend or relative....
