Unique, independantly run local grocer. Definetly a few quirks such as mentioned in previous reviews such as closing shop and locking the doors from noon-1230 for lunch everyday?? I dont get it. That being said, this place IS open holidays when other grocers are typically closed, so good if you need essentials. Small produce section, meat counter, frozen goods. Just watch expiration dates if you can find them and know that prices are generally MSRP (kinda like Straubs without the elegance) so more expensive than your average grocer. Not the place I do weekly shopping, but there if in a pinch. Also, check cashing and utility payments are accepted. This is where I significantly downgrad my rating- When paying utility bills you are charged the usual "agent fee" this establishment contractually receives being a payment processor. But they then charge an additional amount on top (based on transaction fees displayed on the window, varies by utility). That isnt even what really bugs me, my problem is they refuse to provide a reciept for the total amount paid. The reciept includes only the "agent fee". Not their added charge. They advise there is no way to print a reciept that includes both, and no good explanation why I cant get something on paper representing everything I paid. Maybe its innocent, but at a minimum not accounting for cash transactions is questionable...

Vehicles broke down at the Moment and this is the only Grocery store within walking distance. I walked there and had employees follow me when I was just looking for the milk "being it was my first time there". I bought 2 gallons of milk which they marked up drastically being that they're the only Grocery store near here. I get home and gave my daughter her chocolate milk which was rotten but the date was still good. So, I open the gallons of milk and sure enough, both are bad. The dates were all good, it's like their coolers stopped working and they kept the milk that got hot and stuck it all back in the refrigerator. $14 for 2 gallons of Milk and $3.00 for her chocolate milk wasted. I called them but they were closed and I guarantee they don't offer me a refund on any of it. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. I'll never go back there for anything. I was preparing to cook my Christmas dinner. And I found out that I did not have any sage for my dressing. I went to 7 stores. There were nothing in the stores for sage 7 stores. I went to go to the market. And I found that they had some, and I was very pleased to find out that. They carried a variety of everything. That I had no idea about. So I will be back and it was an amazing visit. The lady at the cash register was very knowledgeable and it was a short visit.
