Just left the store. I was at the cash register going to purchase an item in the store for $299.99. The salesgirl went in the back to get a brand new product (wig) versus the product on display that is used for customers to try on before purchasing. The salesgirl came back and indicated they were out of the product and they only had the display. The Asian owner at the cash register said he could give me 10% off. I told him I needed a little more than 10% off, because the display product was ratty, dull looking, and frizzy from many people handling it and trying it on. The owner told me I was the only person that ever tried it on the product and the store policy is not to let people try on the products before purchasing.
I told him that was very unbelievable, because how would a customer know if the coloring, length, or texture was right for them before they purchased the product. I left without buying the product, because the Asian owner told me to leave, because I questioned him. So, I leave in total disbelief!
Well, Iām sitting in my car writing the review and a cop knocks on my car window. The Asian owner called the police on me. I canāt believe this. I have a PhD and two Master Degrees and lām being treated like a common criminal. This is a total NIGHTMARE!! PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!
Business Owner (Asian Guy on the cash register), I just wanted to let you know you LOST a BIG BIG sale! After you harassed me in the parking lot with the police, while I was in my car writing a review on your store, I left when I finished writing. I went to AQ Beauty Supply on 8708 Blue Ridge Blvd and spent approximately $500 in total sales! I couldn't try it on at the store because of my hairstyle that day, however, when I got home, I realized the color did not look good for me. I went back today to return the item that was UNUSED...UNOPENED...had the tag on it and the hairnet still attached. I had not taken it out of the plastic bag since when my husband saw it, he immediately said it wasn't good for me. The man at the register told me...rudely, that it is on the receipt that they do not accept returns. Now, I am new to wig buying and so I didn't know that. When I bought the wig I didn't look at it to see if you could return it either. And no one in the store told me that it couldn't be returned. I literally was going to exchange it for another color, and since my hair was braided down, I was ready to shop for a few more wigs. Their policy of no return on an unused item is dumb. My business was almost turned away. They had to get the manager and he had to take down my First/Last Name and driver's license number. I felt like a criminal. How embarrassing! Again this was a $30 purchase. This is the only store that has this policy. No faith in the public or your loyal customers. Why operate to the public if you don't trust the public? I'll go elsewhere next time!
