We have tried many Indian, Mediterranean, Greek, shawarma, and similar restaurants in the area. I was excited to try kabobs in particular. The entry was very large and smelled like a spa not a restaurant. Perhaps they should leave those doors open so the cooking aromas can invite you in. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nearly empty on a Thursday evening. The menu was odd but fun. The print was very large and included ads for other businesses. The menu items did not tell you what comes with each dish. For instance I ordered lamb kabobs. It did not say each meal comes with… the server asked if I wanted Naan or rice. My meal also came with onions, bell peppers thin yogurt sauce, puréed jalapeño sauce, a grilled jalapeño and lime. It would have been nice to know. My naan was the perfect texture but not the greasy salty naan I’m accustomed to. None of our food was salted, and none of it had even the slightest bit of salt or oil on it, except for my lamb, which was very well seasoned, except without any salt. It was like everything in the restaurant was made perfectly without any oil and without any salt. Now if they had said that on the menu, I would’ve understood, but it was very strange to bite into the saag paneer, the naan and the rice and it all be extremely dry, and have to add salt to every single bite. The strawberry lassie was delicious, but it would also be nice if they explained what a lassie was and what rose milk was, in case somebody had a dietary restriction or other needed explanation. The atmosphere was beautiful, also the waitress seem very hesitant and really only spoke to my husband. I wish she had been less timid and spoken to me as well. The television showed Bollywood style music videos that were fun to watch. Add salt & some oil then it would be great. The menu pictures showed kabobs on sticks with meat and veggies together. Mine were served off a stick. Please make you menu accurate & more detailed, and please flavor your food...

Read moreMy friends and I have gone to this restaurant regularly because their food is so good, but yesterday 12/6/2024, our experience was so bad with a new waitress there that I don't even want to come back for a while. Our friends were in a hurry and asked for our food to-go. The waitress didn't get our to-go orders right and brought out 2 dishes for dine-in instead. My friends ate their food really fast so they can hurry and go and when they asked for the bill, we realized that the waitress charged us double because she thought we asked for the same orders dine in AND togo?? We tried to explain that there was a miscommunication and that we didn't want dine-in initially, only togo. However, the waitress was extremely adamant she was in the right and forced us to pay the extra dishes and emphasized that WE ordered it and kitchen already made it so... If it was me, I wouldn't have mind paying for the extra dishes because the kitchen already prepared it, but it was her attitude (super adamant that she's in the right even though we emphasized it to her that we were in a hurry initially and needed our orders togo) that made it such a bad experience for us. My 2 friends ended up paying almost $100 (double what they...
