I took my one-year-old Cavapoo for grooming and was beyond shocked to see him completely shaved, from his eyelashes to his tail, with all the hair on his legs gone. While he had some tangles, the groomer clearly chose the easy route of shaving him down instead of spending the time and care to properly work through them. He used to be so cuddly and adorable with his fluffy coat, but now he looks like a completely different dog — and not in a good way. Our poor pup seemed traumatized afterward, and with the weather turning cold, he’s been miserable.

Took my 1 year old Cavapoo to Fido as I had been looking to support a small business in my town. Kay was great. The place is situated in Main Street but there is shopper parking across the road so you need to just cross at the stoplight. She's very straightforward - not pushy, does what you ask her and I love that her cute dog Elly was there to play with my dog. Fourth grooming salon I tried for my dog and it was absolutely the best. 1. She—a female cockapoo—was not traumatized but was a lovely and lively puppy coming out of grooming. 2. Her cut was even throughout and ALL of her nails were cut. (First time that all of her nails were cut.). 3. The groomer was really nice and explained that my dog was nervous in the beginning but became more relaxed.
