Andres Wine & Spirits — Local services in Leonia

I visited Andres couple weeks ago and was disappointed by the lack of customer service from the new owner. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted as he was engaged in a phone call. Despite spending over 10 minutes searching for a specific wine, the owner did not offer assistance and continued his phone conversation. I eventually left the store without making a purchase and even then the owner did not end his call to address me.

This was my second attempt to give the new owner a chance. A few months ago, I had called the store to make a purchase and arranged home delivery, but the owner declined my request in a very rude abrupt manner.

The previous owner was a gentleman who believed in customer service. It’s disappointing to see what has happen to my go to liquor store for so many years in Leonia...

Update: I checked up on this place. A nice big batch of suspicious reviews. A couple of new surly, spitting on the sidewalk employees. There are two other liquor stores in this tiny town, and they work for your patronage. Try those!

Petty but true review. Picked up some drinks the day before Halloween and I see the new owner promising my kid some orange tic tacs if he stops by in costume on Halloween. Halloween comes and the owner denies him…? My local liquor store; I’ll shop elsewhere now. Wow, I know how I come across, but it doesn’t matter. The review below is about Halloween, but there was a time limit on that day. I went there before that so my kids and my friend's kids could all get the candy they wanted.

I have been living in Leonia for 5 years. We have a lot of gatherings at our house, so we often go to stores. The owner changed recently. It was awkward at first But the new owner was really friendly to me and very kind to my other family members and even my dog~🤣 Sometimes, when my daughters go out to buy snacks or drinks, they are very happy with us. So my 12 and 10 year old daughters call him Nice Gentleman. Even five stars...
