China Taste — Restaurant in Leonia

We have been here a couple of times, so far we like the food and good to come back.

My regular go to is Chicken with Broccoli dish. If a Chinese take out store can't make a good one, I usually see if it's a hit or a miss. This was my second time ordering, there is a good amount in the quart size.

This time we had Sesame Tofu and General Tso's Chicken. Both dishes were so good, I should have ordered a General Tso's Chicken. I'm a little sensitive on salt content, the entire order was not heavy on salt and it made me like China Taste more.

My husband ordered a quart of Wonton Eggdrop Soup, he likes it too and it's not heavy on the cornstarch taste often can be in the soup.

I only took a picture of my Chicken with Broccoli dish, everything else was eaten so quickly, whoops?

The kitchen had two chefs, please be patient when you pick up your order. Staff is friendly, parking is available outside, all cash and credit cards are accepted.

I got the half fried chicken and pork fried rice. Everything was hot and the chicken was juicy. Most places dont seem to season there food but there chicken and rice was so flavorful and fresh tasting. Also they actually give you nice size pieces of pork in the fried rice This place is definitely 1 of the best Chinese food I have had. It was so good I was going to order again and take it with me. Unfortunately it was Sunday and I forgot I say the sign they are closed Sunday, so that was the only sad thing but that's not on them

I was in the area from NYC for a real estate conference. Came across China Taste and hope it would be good while. Called my order in and picked it up 20 min after. I wish I took a picture of the food, but I was on the go so had to get back to the conference. Need help in NYC realestate hit me up and I'm on it....

Terrible customer service. The wife placed an order for pick up. Upon arrival, I paid for the order, and before leaving, I asked if a drink should be included. The cashier said, "No drink, come with the order." Took 10 minutes to get home. My wife asked where the drink was, so I called the restaurant to complain. Guy, who answered the phone, said they can't credit me for the drink as it was part of the meal even though it was their fault. After complaining about how irresponsible they are, he also said they don't care if we order from them again.

Since they refused to credit my credit card for the drink because it was part of the combo. I said I would bring the meal back for a full refund. I took 1 meal back for a refund. If you ordered the shrimp broccoli during that time, you may have gotten my meal since they didn't...
