Marshalls — Local services in Lewes

Store was fine. Clerk was rude and demanding. This was a Marshall on rt1 clerk #6. As I approached her she shouted stop, I had not empty cart or anything like that. I did not call you yet, she said.I stopped and said so what do want me to do? She said you were not to come until I called you. The line was long, her last customer had left the store already,she was just standing there. SO might thought was I was next, she was empty so I thought I knew where I was to go. She said I need to wipe first. She wiped a small area which made no sense to me as the last customer had alot of stuff. She never touched any area where a hand could have been. I thought I was helping by moving in her direction but I guess I didn't get the handbook. She was so rude I thought about just walking out. Some people I guess should not be in customer service. I'll think twice before I return to that marshalls. I used to work in customer service and never treated a customer like I was treated today. I know stores are under staffed, but either give the clerk her break time or something but she should never treat a customer like that. Unacceptable is what...

Marshall's is the type of store that you have to have time and patience to shop at. I am not usually a patient shopper since I like to be able to view the merchandise rather than sort through it like a vulture honing in on its prey. The clothing racks are roughly 20' long and are terribly separated by size dividers. There's no help on the floor and the register reminds me of Walmart. Granted, a good deal can be found if you have the patience and the time. Fortunately, I found a couple XS athletic shirts rather quickly and bolted. If I need a couple tees and the outlets are too crazy to go to, then I may pop into Marshall's to see if I can pick up a variety of UA, Nike, Calvin Klein, etc. without having to run into many different stores to save a great...

First off this is coming from a huge fan of marshalls however I don't review unless I get outstanding service. And the store appearance meats or exceeds my expectations, we'll in this case this store has it all great experience, my wife told me fitting rooms were clean and staff were friendly, the store was organized even taken into consideration they were busy, staff members at this store seem to enjoy there job. And lines were long BUT moving quickly as the scheduling manager must have properly scheduled people on registers to ensure a quick check out.
