The experience of service was awful during our visit. It took several minutes for employees to even notice we needed to be seated. Once seated the server took at least 20 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. The drink order itself took 30 minutes despite it only including coffee and water. No attempt to explain they were brewing coffee and it may take a few minutes was made. So I assume it was just incompetence of the server. Once receiving our food, our server failed to check back on us if we needed anything DESPITE being his ONLY table. We ordered the bottomless pancakes so we wanted to get a refill several times. We made this known. We had to approach his coworkers twice to get a refill, and even they were scarce to be found. Our server was changed in the middle of our experience because of how long it took to eat. No transfer of service introduction to the new server was made. All the servers walking around had ear buds in as well making it difficult to get anyone's attention. Knowing this is not a high end breakfast place I assumed service wouldn't be 5 star, but this was unacceptable. We will not be back. There are plenty of breakfast restaurant alternatives that will be getting my patronage from now on. Very disappointing all around.
Update: When we went to pay, the server lied to us saying she had appendicitis and that was why she was moving so slow today. When I asked why she was working, she said she needed the money. This was all a lie to get a sympathy tip. Sweetheart if you have appendicitis and are working at iHop you are going to burst your appendix and die. Really poor quality of employees here. Enjoy the $4 tip I hope it will cover your...
Read moreThe 4 stars are for the wait. We were told it would be about 25-30 min wait, there were 4 or 5 ahead of us. We were understanding because it was a busier time of day BUT they had several tables still open but for what ever reason they were not seating anyone at some of them. Anyway, we waited in our car and after about 30 mins they called and said our table was ready. Once we got seated our waitress was very good and made sure we had plenty to drink until she brought our ticket to us and it seemed like she thought we wouldn't need any after that even though we were still eating when she brought the ticket to the table. The manager (I'm guessing is what he was) was walking around checking on all of the tables more than the waitresses were just to be sure everyone had everything they needed. It was nice to see the manager walking the floor, we go to A LOT of restaurants including other ihops and have not seen this much at all. We got our food fairly quick and it was made just as we had ordered. The food was good & the service was mostly good, we would definitely go back! After eating here I read some of the reviews people posted here, maybe either there was different staff or maybe some changes were made but the only real issue we had that would be the same as others was the wait time. Everything else was good and at times we are bot easy to please, we expect to get waited on in a timely manner and get our food in a timely manner and still at an appropriate temp., not cold food. After all, we are paying for it so we expect it to be as we want it and we tip the waitress according to her service and politeness and this waitress was...
Read moreTried to order..... GrubHub stated 25-30 mins. After an hour and TWO drivers, I cancelled my order,.... A FREAKING SANDWICH AND FRIES, AND IT CAN'T BE MADE IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES!?!!? I'll never be ordering again, or visiting or ordering from any of those IHOP "digital brands," or whatever marketing BS this is. Bad service, bad feelings, bad management and ownership. Hope GrubHub removes you and I REALLY hope your receipts reflect your service. And this is for IHOP national, they've lost me st EVERY store.... One bad apple, spoils the bushel. This is gonna be a funny rant when I turn ridulous things like this into laughter and joy, and I do enjoy drinking the tears of the worthless and useless... Truth is truth. Won't be soon enough for me to see that building replaced with local, quality, and talented chefs that use quality products, and make fresh food, instead of this festering, rotting, scheming, thinking that marketing and branding, have more power than QUALITY, CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hurts more when you used be big and fell, huh? Hurry, shipup or SHUTDOWN, I'm confident I speak for all Americans who are fed up with Customer Service in this country with you big companies. Make profits and bucks for Stake and Stockholders, Customers are last, cause profit is first. Guess what?!?? You can put customers first AND have profits too!!!!!
Hilarious monologue into rant inc... But first, I'm gonna go find food at places I've been treated well, and taken care off, and they are nice and serve quality food.... Try it? Lol.
TL;DR - AVOID,...
