I googled 5 star med spas in Lexington and came to Face Forward based on reviews that I had read. I made an appointment for a consultation with Amy. She was everything that I was hoping for and more. I immediately felt her warmth and sincerity so I booked a BBL service with her that day! I received my (very first) BBLtreatment yesterday and was thrilled with the service. I am excited to start seeing results! Amy was gentle, kind and so professional. I haven't met the owner, Jill, yet but have already received extremely helpful communications from her. I have now been coming to Face Forward for going on two years! The Face Forward team have been the most amazing group of professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Valerie is the front Face of the team and is kind, efficient & so professional. Her response time to any questions via text is immediate every time I reach out. Amy is my go to girl for all facials, more advanced treatments such as BBL & Halo treatments and advice of my skin care needs, products and the ideal time line for services. She is professional, kind, compassionate & warm always. Jill, the owner, is also kind, professional and warm. These ladies truly care about their patients and what is best for each individual. Very disappointed with results and customer service. After being initially happy with the skin care products that I purchased, I spent thousands on BBL laser to remove dark spots on my face, arms, and chest. After three treatments, my arms and face look worse. My face has dark patches that were not there before. I was told during treatment they would come off but they did not. I have subsequently been told by a dermatologist that it is melasma and they should never have done laser.

The spots on my arms got darker and never came off. I approached them and was told that they never told me a number of treatments and it could take 3-4 more treatments to work. However, they never disclosed this before treatment. I would never have begun this process if I thought the cost would be potentially double and I would look worse.

I let the owner know that the number of treatments was never disclosed, and she did not reply. She just forwarded my email onto someone else who told me the owner was on vacation for a month.

On top of that, after one of my treatments, I was bruised badly. The owner told me that this was not a bruise and is normal. Yet, four months later, I still have remnants of a bruise on my chest and I have to go elsewhere to spend thousands to fix what was started. I tried to post a picture in my prior review but google removed my review.

A friend referred me to to Face Forward and it did not disappoint. I had moved back to the area and was looking for a reliable med spa for laser treatment to help with age and sun spots as my primary concern and then skin surface as a secondary. I had a consultation with Amy and could tell she was experienced and knowledgeable. She did a scan of my face and showed me where i had opportunities to improve my skin. She recommended a Halo Laser. I booked an appointment immediately for my laser treatment. She gave me a set of products to use on my skin for a month prior to the laser to get my skin ready. I was a little nervous on the day of the treatment as I knew it was hurt (which it did) but she made me as comfortable as possible and provided me with products for after care. My skin was looking tired and dry before i had gone in. Now it is smooth and luminous. I did have brown spots that continued to persist. When i went back for my follow up, Amy suggested a spot BBL that she provided at no charge. The BBL helped with the spots but then they returned within a week.
