My husband and I decided to go to the visitor center on our first day in Lexington. It was the best decision of the entire visit! Besides the lovely shopping area we were welcomed by a gentleman who works at the center. I think his name was Tony. He helped us chose some books from the gift shop and gave us some free things that really sparked our interest in this wonderful historic area! Then, since we had lots of time he was kind enough to give us a tour of the centers historic displays and the stories that go with them! It was absolutely wonderful! We will never forget the time spent there. Please tell the gentleman who helped us that we truly appreciated him and all we learned as well as his suggestions on places to go and things to see during our stay. Thanks to him it has been a...

Incredible, private trolley tour of Concord for my parents' Anniversary Party!! Thank you Katie Johnson of the Lexington Visitors Center for organizing the fun-filled morning! Our Minuteman tour guide, Dale, brought history to life with his animated and detailed history of battlefields, war strategies, weapons, etc!! He even had us marching behind him while he played his Fife! Thanks Dale for teaching and entertaining us !! Deborah, our driver, was also professional and patient with our changes to the itinerary. Overall, a...

Very expansive visitor center. Bigger than concords. More options for shopping and explanations. The have bus rides about 90 minute long for Lexington and concord on the history of the beginning of the independence war for the british colonies setting off with the specific events of April 18 & 19 of 1775. The desire for independence was brewing for some time. There is a bit of dispute if it started in Lexington or concord, for this reason there is flag pole...

Well stocked gift shop, restrooms clean, informative and helpful staff and 2 rooms off shop for history presentation. Took the Walking Tour- Julien was our guide and he did an amazing job sharing events leading up to the first shots fired as we walked the Green then to the cemetery where the militia who were killed by the Regulars were buried/ honored. He was well spoken, informative and helpful. Learned a lot!

We went to the visitors center today for both the 250th commemorative event, and Boston 25’s zip trip. It was great seeing Gene, Shiri, and Nicole. The center staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have a great selection of gifts as well. There are several tours available, a good look at the rich history of Lexington.
