My husband and I decided to go to the visitor center on our first day in Lexington. It was the best decision of the entire visit! Besides the lovely shopping area we were welcomed by a gentleman who works at the center. I think his name was Tony. He helped us chose some books from the gift shop and gave us some free things that really sparked our interest in this wonderful historic area! Then, since we had lots of time he was kind enough to give us a tour of the centers historic displays and the stories that go with them! It was absolutely wonderful! We will never forget the time spent there.
