Very informative and learned soo much. Our tour guide was interactive with the group, suggested many places on the tour to go back & visit. Middle of tour you disembark and take a short walk to a bridge. So much history within the 16 mile stretch and the guide shared more personal details of famous people that you may not know of in history books. Our trolley was air conditioned, seats had padded cushions and driver was super courteous of people on tour and of other drivers, pedestrians & cyclists on the road. Definitely buy tickets in advance. There is parking nearby (1 city block distance) either on street (metered) or lots where you scan a bar code on the sign in parking lot to pay for parking. Cost us $1.65 for 2 hours.

We were so impressed with Lexington and Concord as a town. Originally when we booked this we didn't realize it was more outskirts than downtown and we were SO excited to find this little gem. Owen was our tour narrator (dressed in traditional wear from that time, it was authentic) and he was so knowledgeable. We had a great time and learned so much!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. This tour gives a thorough overview of the history of Lexington and Concord - a great choice if you have limited time to explore everything on your own. We definitely left with ideas of what to see next time we visit. The sights cannot be beat on a gorgeous Fall day.

Review of The Battle Green Tour

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing The Battle Green Tour on August 2, 2025, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, the tour exceeded all my expectations, earning a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

One of the highlights of the tour was the wealth of information provided. Allan was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, making the historical context come alive with engaging stories and facts. This made the tour not only educational but also incredibly enjoyable.

The weather was amazing, adding to the overall pleasant ambiance. It allowed for comfortable walking and sightseeing, enhancing the beauty and historical significance of the tour sites.

I honestly have no criticisms to offer—everything was impeccable. The combination of an informed guide, great weather, and excellent organization made this tour a memorable experience. I highly recommend The Battle Green Tour to anyone interested in history, culture, and a well-curated...

Two things that cause the one-star review. One, our guide was not great. He was not interesting and seemed to mumble a lot. But the main reason for the poor review - the description of the trolley stated it was "temperature-controlled air conditioning". IT WAS NOT. The driver had a/c on her, but that was it. When this was brought up to the guide he said "it is what it is". If you don't have a/c, then don't say you have a/c since some people have issues with the heat and therefore plan tours that say they are...
