Very disappointed with the service. The same server gave the table next to us much better and kinder service. You might be able to get away with that if the tables aren’t close together. I’m guessing the other table was spending more money? I really didn’t appreciate the way we were treated. The manager or host working the podium was very nice to us though. On the plus side the food came out very fast and was all delicious. I strongly recommend the Truffle Duck. Be wary desserts don’t have prices and are all ~$15 and are small. Feels like they are trying to trick you. $13 for one scoop of tempura ice cream is a bit crazy. However with better communication I would not have minded the price. They also need to thaw the Heart Cake before they serve it - it was completely frozen and impossible to eat with a fork or spoon. The mango dessert was delicious. I most likely won’t return due to the service.

Avoid This Restaurant: Terrible Experience

I regret dining at this restaurant and strongly advise against it. My recent visit left me feeling disrespected and deeply upset.

Firstly, a waiter dropped a piece of avocado onto our table while serving our salad. Instead of apologizing and promptly rectifying the situation, she nonchalantly asked if it was acceptable for us to eat it. This lack of accountability for her mistake was appalling.

Secondly, despite ordering a specific type of maki, we were served the wrong dish. While I understand mistakes can happen, the staff's response was unacceptable. They showed no remorse and even attempted to blame me for their error, citing unclear communication.

Furthermore, the portions of food were notably small considering the prices charged. This disparity between portion size and cost added to the overall dissatisfaction with the dining experience.

Additionally, I was shocked to discover that a 20% tip was automatically included on the bill, despite our party not exceeding four individuals. When questioned about this, the waiter evaded the issue and only begrudgingly adjusted the tip percentage after I insisted. However, even after specifying a lower tip amount, I was met with eye-rolling and blatant disregard for my request.

To add insult to injury, my friend overheard the waiter complaining about me to a colleague, further exacerbating the already unpleasant experience.

In summary, the combination of poor service, lack of accountability, disproportionately small food portions for the price, and disrespectful behavior makes this restaurant one to avoid at all costs. My hope is that management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to improve the dining experience for...

4/21/24 Terrible experience tonight! 3 of us coworkers decided to go to this restaurant after a long day of work. This was a night to celebrate our Manager’s vacation take off! She loves sushi so much and we were excited to dine here! What was our experience? We waited almost an hour to get our entree’s. We realized two of the orders were incorrect! The portions are very small for such prices. We called the hostess over to explain the issues all she did was laugh! Judy the owner / chef yelled at us talking very loudly and not taking responsibility for the way the dishes were made! We stated that certain seafood was missing in 2 of the orders. After 10 minutes of all 3 of us being reprimanded. We finally said enough! We got charged 120.00 all they did was give 12.00 discount which was outrageous! One of the meals was just a bowl of rice and hardly any seafood! We will never ever go here again. The plating was not cute we felt for such high prices for seafood dishes that seafood would be included in the dishes themselves. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone! With so many options in Massachusetts research before choosing this place!!!! Judy and the hostess are not very good at servicing the public what a...

it's a sushi restaurant, so expectations center on the quality of the sushi... my wife and I decided to splurge and ordered the Daikanyama platter, "The sushi chef's selection"... what a total disappointment - first of all, NO unagi, no ikura, no uni, no handrolls, no spicy anything - not a single "special" item. And what there was - tuna maki, california roll, small cuts of tuna, salmon and yellowtail sashimi, surimi, nigiri - all was without flavor - not one piece of fish where we said that was yummy. For the first time in 40+ years of eating sushi we did not bother to finish it.

We had also ordered the hamachi collar - a "market price" appetizer and a favorite of ours - but when it came out it was clearly overcooked and even charred in some spots, which we pointed out to the waiter, who assured us it would taste fine. We ate about 3/4 of it, leaving the most overcooked parts - also a huge disappointment.

unsurprisingly, none of the wait staff nor manager asked us how our meal was...

We won't be returning - we may have to go a little further next time, but this quality of food is not ok, at any price point. We are frankly perplexed that the restaurant has had a long run in...
