Without a doubt, the coolest monument on the Lexington Battle Green. The Minuteman Statue is very impressive and picturesque. There is a reason--as of writing--the Minuteman Statue has the highest rating out of all the attractions on the Battle Green. That is due to the figures defiant stance with the picturesque battlefield and flag in the background. There are nice smelling flowers below the Statue. The most defiant and picturesque monument on the Lexington Battle Green. A great visit!

You can say it all began here on the morning of April 19, 1775, led by the local militia commander, Captain John Parker. The statue represents not only Captain Parker, but the spirits of all those brave souls that stood their ground on April 19, 1775. This is one of many historical sites to see along the "Road to Revolution" in Lexington, Concord and Menotomy.

A cool statue reflecting on the brave men who left their families to fight for their country.
