Of all the diners I have reviewed, this has to be the worst experience of all of them. First of all, this is more like a fast food place than a diner. Cheap styrofoam plates, mismatched plastic utensils, ketchup in packets, etc. I grabbed the to-go menu and began looking it over. As per usual, I was going to get my ham & cheese omelette with hash browns and a biscuit (there was no options for bread). I took the to-go menu up to the service counter and ordered my usual choices. I even pointed to the to-go menu with my finger, and clearly ordered the omelette plate. When he rang it up, the price was a little higher than I expected. So when they deposited an omelette and hash browns on my tray, I asked about the biscuit that comes with the meal. If you see the receipt I uploaded, the server though I said I only wanted an omelette and a side of hash browns (which is clearly NOT what I said I wanted). The manager looked at my receipt and didn't flinch when he said "yep, that's the right price." My jaw almost dropped. Why the h* would I order something that costs more and has less food? They wouldn't apologize or make things right with me. I wolfed down their greasy food and left, never to return. I will not even dignify them with how their food tasted. Folks, there are WAY better options for breakfast than this place....
Read moreOn Wed 9-5-2018 I went to the Biscuit King on Hwy 8 just before twelve noon. When I went in I was the only person placing an order. A lady with two color hair took my order. I ordered a chrrze burger with extra mayo, pickles, red slaw and chili. When I got my order, I was glad I was eating there, because the burger had lettuce, tomato and a couple pickles. Took it back and explained that it was not what I ordered and repeated...extra mayo, pickles red slaw and chili and that I did not order the lettuce or tomato. They took it back and I looked at the cook, wearing blue shirt and had a beard, and again repeated my order. They took it back and when they returned it there was chili, slaw, pickles, lettuce, tomato and no mayo. I went and got mayo and put it on myself. Another couple came in and ordered and they had to go back and ask for their salad because they didn't fix it with rest of order. A third couple came in and the man ordered a hot dog and had to take it back because it was not the way he ordered. When he said something to the cashier she said something to to the cook and the customer told them to just give him his money back, which they did. I visit that Biscuit King a few times a month and have never had a problem like today. The food was good although it was never fixed the way it was...
Read moreNew to the area, we decided to try this place out based on a few recommendations. Parking lot is rough! There is a big dip in the pavement when you enter and a decent incline when you exit, making it hard to see traffic. After waiting in line for some time in the drive thru, we were asked to pull in to this parking area off to the side of the drive thru. After about 20 minutes we got our food and headed home. The drive home the food smelled so good, we couldn't wait to try. When we opened up the Styrofoam platters, we were impressed with how good everything looked. Some of us tried their breakfast bowls and it was okay. It wasn't bland, but a little heavy on the cheddar (at least for me). What the biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They looked so good but they were sour! I'm not sure if they were supposed to be like that but it was NOT pleasant. If sour pancakes is your thing, then this place is for you. The biscuits were admittingly good. Not the best, they were flatter than the pancakes but tasted good. Although we experienced good customer service, this place is not for us and will not...
