We went to the Castle for a couple different reasons. I wanted to have my engagement ring sized which was bought in a different store. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door the sales person Amy was so sweet and nice she took my ring and took it straight to the jeweler. It couldn’t be sized to fit me because my ring size is so small we were given many different options. Amy and the owner Phil worked with me and never left my side and I was in the store for hours. I came home with a beautiful ring that was sized while we worked on my second reason for being there. My son wanted to use one of my rings to give to his girlfriend on New Year’s Day. We took it to the Castle to have the diamond set on a new band. Phil and Amy stayed while I went through several books and bands that would fit my marquee diamond. They took care of every detail. The band was picked out and I was called through every step of the process. Phil called me every couple of days to let me know what was going on and during the busiest time of the year was able to get the ring to us so my son could surprise his girlfriend on New Year’s Day. If it would let me post a picture I would show how beautiful the ring turned out and how happy everyone was. When I went into the NFL in 1996 Mr. Phil and his team gave me 100% of the value of my smaller hearings I purchased when I was playing at the University of Kentucky. When I purchased bigger Earings after going into the NFL.

Big jewelry company now use that way of business as marketing. The only time I did not use The Castle Jewelry and Pawn of Lexington is when I did an appearance with a jewelry store in Minnesota for the Minnesota Vikings for cash or jewelry. I personally called Mr. Phil and his Team and they advised me of the real value of the jewelry verse the cash and it wasn't a price they could match so Mr. Phil advised me to do the jewelry deal because it was truly an awesome deal.

The Castle Jewelry and Pawn of Lexington, Mr. Phil and his team are truly honest and put their customers and clients before their sales or money. Even now in 2024, I do not let anyone close to me or myself buy jewelry with no one without talking to Mr. Phil and his Team first. 97% of my friends and family have also baught from The Castle and only about 3% have not because the price was so close the shipping would have made it more expensive so Mr. Phil told me to just have them purchase the jewelry in their home state. I’m disappointed in the way my fiancé was treated at this store. She was completely taken advantage of. She took a ring into them to pawn with the intention of picking it back up, well she decided she wanted to sale it so she called the store and they told her she could, but she would have to pay to get it out first. They also told her they couldn’t evaluate it until after she paid for it, they said it would be under $1,500. She was under the impression that pawning it was different than sailing it. So she goes in pays $540 to get it out then they tell her they will offer her $440 to buy it. They knew how much they would offer her, before she paid for it. I can’t even begin to understand how someone can be that shady and manipulative, to allow her to pay $540 knowing full and well they would only give her $440 and she would immediately lose $100! This isn’t right to take advantage of people like this, and then to tell her she could sale it on Facebook market place for more! I work in a jewelry store in Lexington and we would never treat our customers like this!! My fiancé is so kind she always sees the best in people and she is too trusting sometimes.
