Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Lexington

Update: I went back to this location on Friday (6/20/25) for a last minute LARGE breakfast order. I went inside and asked about party platers. They offer party platters for Chick-n-Minis but biscuits must be ordered individually. (This is not a bad thing-just offering information) I ended up ordering two large Chick-n-Minis platters (40 each) and 15 Chicken Biscuits. The employee taking the order was super helpful (explaining options), friendly, and genuine. Since it was a large order she called it back in advance. The employee bagging the order said "For right now?" (with a shocked look). I laughed and said "Take your time. There is no rush." I expected to wait a while and was okay with that. I had the entire order in less than 10 minutes. I was impressed and the surprise breakfast went over well at my husband's work. I had to update the rating based on this great transaction.

Previous Post: We ordered ahead and went through the "Mobile Thru" lane. We followed the posted signs and pulled up in the second lane outside the window. We got "scolded" for not merging with the other lane. However, there were no signs or cones indicating that we should have merged. The chicken for the chicken biscuit...

Had a very rude experience with one of the employees. We went through the drive thru to order after a very long day. I was ordering and my man was standing outside the car to have a quick smoke break since we had our baby in the car. He followed by the car as i moved up to the window. The employee had told him that he needed to leave or she would call the cops. I guess she assumed that he was loitering or possibly even homeless. He was wearing dirty pants and shoes because he works in construction. He works really hard to provide for our family so i can stay at home with our baby that has medical needs. I take the baby to multiple appointments every week. My man puts his all into his job because he loves his family. It has been exhausting for the both of us and then we encounter this. She never asked questions to see if he was ordering food. She just ASSUMED he was a risk. Let this be a lesson to treat people with kindness and not assume things. You don’t know what people are...

Stinks that I was very excited to finally have a Chick-fi-la on this side of Lex but did not take long for it to disappoint. From mediocre chicken minis to not fresh biscuits it seems it is always something. This morning was my final attempt. Got in drive thru line at 9:38a and did not pull away from window until 10:11a! Was sitting at actual window for 8 of those min and not one person told me it would be a little bit bc they had to make fresh minis, etc. There were abt 4 of them standing in there socializing bc obviously the cars all backed up were at a stand-still also so they did not have any new orders to take, etc. Never asked me to pull forward or had the system where workers are stationed outside to expedite so big managerial issue also.....bummer. (communication and organization would have made a HUGE difference, along with worker not giving me attitude when I asked why I was still sitting there...
