Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Lexington

I really hate to give this a ONE star. But we ordered nearly $70 of pizza from this store over the weekend and the service wasn't what we would expect.

We made a phone order and asked for delivery. They said it would be at our house within 45 minutes. Nearly 90 minutes later, my wife went to call to see where our pizzas were and she noticed a text indicating our pizzas were delivered 20 minutes prior.

So we go to the front door, and sure enough, there's our $70 worth of pizza sitting on the front porch ground, in the 40⁰ temps. Completely cold.

No doorbell was used. No knock on our door. Nothing

We never were told these would be delivered via Door Dash. We were never told these would be delivered contactless.

I called and spoke with the manager of the store who told me that the only way they could send out fresh pizzas would be if we paid for new ones.

After much arguing, we were given a store credit. And I'm not sure how we can use it since this service was so terrible.

I get that they may have a hard time finding drivers. But at least let the customer know, Hey! Keep your door open and watch for the dude that's gonna leave your pizza out in the cold.

We've never used Door Dash. And we were never informed that's how delivery would work.

We just had to heat up our pizza in the oven for our family gathering. Even though we paid for hot pizzas.

We have doorbell cameras. And the guy never even stepped into our porch. Just reached out and dropped the pizzas into the ground. 🤦🏼‍♂️

The lady at the register has no clue how to ring up meals. I told her I wanted a kids meal for my child and she said no one ever gets those so instead of charging me for the kids meal price for a small individual pizza with a fountain drink for $5.99, she charged me $6.98 for an individual pizza and $2.49 for a fountain drink. Oh, and she informed me that the prices on their menu are not correct. I said they need to get new menus then. So, she overcharged me for a drink at least I thought. I brought it to her attention. She got the manager and despite the fountain drink price of $2.49, they only adjusted the price by $1.49. I wanted to set them straight but was with a lot of people. They need to educate personnel to run the register appropriately. The manager needs to also check things clearly instead of brushing the...

I ordered a large Pepperoni pizza, an order of breadsticks, party twists, a 2-liter, and a garlic sauce. I paid $50 not including tip for delivery and didn’t recieve my 2-liter or sauces. The pizza and breadsticks only taste good with their garlic sauce (in my opinion) so without my sauces the pizza and breadsticks were bland. I had to buy addition drinks because they didn’t deliver my drink. And to top it all off my party twists were literally raw dough (see pictures) and when I called the manager said he couldn’t refund me for the missing items but could adjust my bill and hope for the best. But I spent $50 when I could barely even eat anything/enjoy my meal. So I wouldn’t recommend ordering delivery and make sure you check your order including making sure it’s fully cooked!...
