I have been treated for Retinopathy and Diabetic Macular Edema, since 2013 at Retina Associates by Dr.Thomas Stone, MD. I have seen great improvement over the years, after trying various treatments. Dr. Thomas Stone is genuinely a very carrying, kind and nice doctor. Dr. Stone was (and continues to be) with me through what started out as a very scary time with my vision. I've since stabilized under his care, and have even begun to improve (which I didnt expect to happen-I was honestly prepared to be grateful just for stabilization if we could get there). He is always kind and actively listens to me; taking time to fully explain treatment plans, while also explaining the reasons behind them and asking for my input. I go there because I think Dr. Stone is great. He explains everything and answers all questions. The receptionist may be new because she was having a very difficult time. I had to wait quite a while to sign in because she couldn’t find a patient’s insurance. Someone on staff came to help her which took them away from their job. Upon leaving, I was given my next appointment by someone else after waiting for the receptionist who was again stuck on signing people in.
