Customer service is terrible. I've always known VS staff to be welcoming at the front door and asking how they can help. This store has never done this when I've entered. In fact, they completely disregard you and ignore you. A register is never open and if they don't have enough staff, they don't ensure you they will be right with you. As a result, the customers are looking around at one another waiting for someone to help them. It's absurd.
Also, don't bring your toddler because while they don't acknowledge you and you have to wait for someone to help you, your toddler (naturally) becomes bored. As a parent, you find ways to entertain your child when you have no resources in front of you. Mind you, I was not shopping, simply just needed to return something, but my trip in total lasted 30 minutes.
The same staff member who watched me wait at a register for 10 minutes (who said nothing to me) had the audacity to tell me how to parent because my toddler became bored after waiting this long and she rummaged with the lipstick at checkout. (did not destroy it, just made it messy) The staff member was annoyed that she had to fix it. However, before seeing how I would handle that, she was extremely rude, removed the items right in front of her face, and made a comment publicly about my parenting in front of other customers. I always ensure my toddler cleans up and I have always respected staff and managers because I understand.
So, if you are parentless of a toddler, are fine waiting forever, then, you'll fit right in. Please note, the manager was appropriate and friendly when I...
Read more(2 stars — because I used to love this place) I’ve been shopping at this Victoria’s Secret for years, literally since my now 4 year old was still doing flips in my belly. The staff has always been kind, patient, and sweet to me and my girls. So imagine my surprise when out of nowhere some worker, who clearly wasn’t shopping for a damn thing, decided to play undercover security and follow us around like we were starring in a low budget episode of To Catch a Shoplifter. Let’s be real, if I were planning a heist, it wouldn’t be in a store where the employees have watched my family grow. And I’m not risking jail time for some funky panties. I’ve never left with a single thing that was not paid for. Morals aside, it’d be stupid as hell since my daughters and I already draw attention get enough compliments out to know that eyes on us is nothing new. If I’m being followed for shopping while Black in a store I’ve faithfully supported for years, something’s gone seriously wrong. Train your team to recognize loyal customers over bias, because no one deserves to be made to feel like America's Most Wanted for browsing...
Read moreI am so sad to post this review as this was my favorite store a couple years ago. The sexy, fun feeling of shopping here is gone. The employees are snippy and rude. They are not the girls that want to make you feel beautiful in the merchandise that were once working the dressing rooms. I was rushed out of the store 15 minutes before the closing time of 7pm. Checkout was awkward and rushed. The girl did something wrong at the register and couldn't even give me the correct change. I was only shorted 46 cents so no big deal. As I walked out of the door, 10 minutes till 7pm, I heard the girl at the door turn away a lady. She told the customer they were closed...
