The Nutcracker was phenomenal! I couldn’t believe the incredible costumes, props and the stage sets that came to life! I took my 4 year old, 6 year old and mother in law and it is the start of a new tradition for us! We’ve loved the Wizard of Oz, and The Nutcracker totally blew us out of the water! Herr Drosselmeyer was absolutely magical! He wasn’t scary like I’ve seen in other performances. He was delightful and engaging, enchanting and powerful! The dancers were stunning! To the tiniest little girls to the huge Madame Ginger! The costumes immediately told the story of who they were and were so vibrant and beautiful! The Mouse King and little mice were just so well done as well! Truly the costumes were out of this world and the nutcracker himself looked like a real life sized nutcracker! We sat front row and also loved watching the live orchestra and brilliant conductor! The music was professional and perfectly Tchaikovsky! There was a part I noticed where the music was forte and then the conductor lowered his raised left hand straight down to his hip and it became the most perfect soft sound! It was amazing the control he had and the talent they exhibited! My girls loved going out during the intermission too to buy the most beautiful tiaras and there were the most wonderful nutcrackers- ornaments and small and tall! Even swords for the boys! All was so reasonably priced and made it fun they could take a part home with them! The photo op sets are always amazing too! Unfortunately our random photographer missed including the two gorgeous tall nutcrackers that adored the sides but our photos are still wonderful! We love attending at the covey and also love that they give out booster seats for children! We had no one in front of us but sitting up just a tad higher helps smaller children have the best view! We were totally taken care of at the Covey Center and it is our favorite place to enjoy the Arts! We have never been disappointed in the least! And my little girls were just in awe and entertained the entire time! Thank you! So much work and moving parts, behind the scenes, and the unbelievable talent of each dancer! It was an amazing Christmas gift for us this year!

We attended the Fantastic Feast and Festival, Harry Potter theme. First of all, my mom and I enjoyed the food and butter beer a ten out of ten. It felt like we were at Hogwarts! Secondly, the people there were so nice and friendly, except the people who were supposed to be bad of course. Third the classes are so interactive; care for magical creatures has real live animals, potions you actually have stuff labeled like unicorn horn powder or moonstone plus your own cauldron the final effect for your potion is amazing and you can drink the potion if you want to, and transfiguration is so cool the guy does awesome magic. If we answer something right or participate in class we get gems for your house cups. I thought that was very cool and fun Fourth, they had that secret defense against the dark arts class and we cast the inspecto patronum, my patronum was a polar bear, amazing right? Fifth is the castle on the outside is so magical and majestic it gives the feeling your actually at Hogwarts Sixth you open a letter that says your invited to come to Hogwarts and learn which is such an awesome thing to start with. seventh they have very well organized shops there, like a fun, colorful candy shop or a wand shop, and a pet shop which is so cool. I got a cute unique owl named nortite short for northern light. Finally the headmaster gives a speech and professer umbridge is you know mean and we say boo which is fun! I love it there and definitely want to go back! I recommend it ten out of ten experience. -Aunika S. 11 years old

We have been attending the Autism affected Family shows for a few years now. My children love being able experience these performances in a way that works for them. It truly is a magical place and blessing to be able to bring them to an audience with their peers and parents who "get it". No need to worry about ever being too loud over their excitement! The ballet performers are so professional as well. The excitement of the audience does not break their concentration of their dance. They are able to give it their all even with children stimming right next to them. Or the occasional runaway child. You can tell they really put their heart and souls into these performances just like every other one. Thank you to the MANY GENEROUS donors that make this evening possible with every show.
