I have been shopping here for maybe 3 or 4 years and I live about an hour away. First, the prices here are excellent and they're going to beat online prices, they're going to beat the national grocery stores, and they're selling products that you can't find anywhere else. Second, everybody that works there are very nice and informed about the products. I have met the owner maybe twice and he's nice and a bit of a perfectionist, which you'll understand when you try their food at the restaurant in back of the store! I buy the Falafel wrap and eat it there and then I take 2 home for the next day. I'm going to argue that these Falafel wraps are the best in town. Concerning the groceries, I found many different beans and lentils that I like to use in the Instant Pot. I found Tahini used to make hummus. Good luck finding Tahini at other grocery stores. Their tahini is the best I have ever used hands down so I guess not all brands are the same. I really enjoy the loose leaf tea and the prices are incredible. I can get a lot of high quality tea for a great price. The store also features excellent gift items like cookies, snacks, European chocolates, Baklava, and drinks. I found some cologne that I really like! This is one of my favorite stores because it carries a lot of products that you can't get anywhere else, good prices, great vibe,...
Read moreI have been buying meat from this shop for about 3 years. But today I decided to rate this shop 1 star out of 5 for the following reason.
I bought some chicken, beef, and a little goat meat from the meat section while went to the restaurant part of this shop to order a couple of sandwiches to take out. Then I waited for my food while the meat section guy prepared the packaged the meats I ordered. When he was finished, I took the bags that he handed me over, took my sandwiches, paid money and left the shop. When I returned home, I proceeded to unpack the meats and put those in the freezer. Here's the caveat - the goat that I ordered was missing, but the tag showed that I paid for that.
So I called the shop and they said if I bring back the tags they will look into it. I brought the tags in the shop, and in so many words the meat section guy said, "I gave you the meat and you are now lying."
As I said, I have been buying meat from this shop for three years now, and I wouldn't be bankrupt if I just donate the $30 worth of meat. But people's word and time should have value and businesses should try not to steal...
Read moreWe visited Zam Zam market as we have been curious about, and wanting to try, new foods and this store promised to hold ingredients and foods that fit our needs. We wandered a bit, grabbedva few things we knew we wanted and others to try, but we did not expect the reception to our visit! The gentleman at the front desk was so gracious and helpful, suggesting better alternatives to items we selected, ideas for recipes, and even explained how to use and what Pakori was to me! This wonderful man made us feel very comfortable and I have to say thank you to this business and the wonderful people in it, and say we will be back as often as we can make the 2 hour drive to be here! Absolutely the best place we visited today! Thank you, thank...
