Now at one time in my life I would have trusted this place with anything I had because this was the ONLY place my dad used for over 20 years! BUT now, with this young guy that works there (that likes to walk around with his pistol showing on his hip) I WILL NEVER use them... and here's why....

I took my engagement ring to them and wanted it sized and a small black diamond set. He took my ring and began to talk and told me that he could do what I asked but that my ring WASN'T REAL! I was taken aback! I immediately called my fiance and told him and my fiance said he's a "d" liar and DO NOT leave my ring there! When I told the guy to give my ring back he started back peddling and tried to get me to leave the ring... needless to say I took my ring and got outta there! So I took my ring straight away to a reputable jeweler in town and needless to say it was real and had great value!

I said all of that to say this, please before you leave your jewelry with ANYONE, make them test it in front of you before you leave it so that you both know and agree that what you're leaving with them has the value that you know it has!

So if you ever have to have jewelry repaired and have to leave it... Check everything you sign when purchasing jewelry. Check for loopholes that a diamond can be swapped out for one of equal value. Know your ring! Take a look yourself at the diamond and record the inscription number, make a plot of the flaws and inclusions, weigh the carat. They sized and re-plated my gold plated ring after 5 other jewelry stores refused to do it. They also did it while I was in the shop and I had the ring sized and re-plated the same day. They were so helpful and knowledgeable especially since I was upset after another jewelry store had already agreed to do it and we had already paid, and that store had had the ring for a week when they informed us they couldn’t do it. I spoke with about 5 other jewelry stores who also said they couldn’t size plated jewelry. I so wish I had called the Jeweler’s Bench sooner because I was beginning to lose hope. They were also very reasonably priced and like I said same day turnaround is hard to beat. He also gave me care instructions and said they could re-plate the piece whenever I need! Can’t express how grateful I am to them!...

I recently met with the man one morning and inquired about getting a special ring resized for my wife's finger. He quoted me a fair price, and asked me if it needed to be done quickly. I told him it was no rush, as the business was very busy with it being just a few days before Christmas. I told him my wife and I would be back that afternoon. We returned a few hours later, and was warmly greeted. The ring would have to be reduced by 2 whole sizes. Then the man asked if we could wait a few minutes. I figured he would want to get my information for callback, but instead he went right to work on it and completed it in 15 minutes.
