I had been putting off taking family photos for the longest time, but after our dog had emergency surgery at the end of the summer, I realized I didn't want to delay it any longer. I'm so glad I reached out to Fred for his help! From our very first conversation, I knew he was the right person for the job. He took the time to ask what I wanted in a photography session and provided a lot of good advice and tips to help us prepare. On the day of our session, Fred and his team were so patient with my toddlers and prickly pup, and they didn't rush us through the shoot. Our photos came out amazing, and Fred did a great job capturing my children and dog's personalities. Fred also worked closely with my husband and me to design a gallery wall for our home. His attention to detail is fantastic, the quality of his work is amazing, and we know we will treasure our photos for years to come. Recently, I had a studio appointment at Fred Levy Photography with my two golden retrievers. All COVID precautions were followed and I felt it was a very safe environment. I never felt rushed during the shoot, quite the opposite, it was fun and relaxing. I am so pleased with the final pictures.

This is the second formal studio sitting with Fred. I did one of both dogs three years ago. It is wonderful to have beautiful portraits of both dogs at different stages in their lives. Meeting Fred Levy was a special stroke of luck. Like anyone who has a dog, especially a black dog, we think he is a member of the family. Our dog Bing was a rescue lab/terrier or something like a terrier. He has an unusual beard for a lab. This only makes him more special. Fortunately for us, Fred has taken on a crusade to restore the dignity of black dogs with his black dog project.
