This is my go to store for any and every James Avery Purchase until today. I was there to buy a gift for my mother in law and also a ring for me. They usually have great customer service. The man with long hair and a younger lady are usually the ones who help me and they are great. Well today a older blonde lady was helping and she really needs some lessons in customer service. I didn’t know the size ring I needed so she goes and grabs the ring sizers. Well I get that covid is a thing right now and we are all taking extra precautions. Instead of her saying “I’m not touching your hand” as I’m trying to figure out the ring size she could have been like “due to covid we are needing you to go through the sizes” but after she said that made me feel uneasy. Anywho we go on to make the purchase and I show her my husbands emt badge like I always do. Well she said she couldn’t honor it because our last names aren’t the same. Even though on countless occasions they have honored it which I explained. She then continued to ask if I had anything with our names and I showed her our insurance card and she still says no. Which whatever follow your “rules” but y’all need to be consistent throughout the store because two others have done it for me on many occasions. But I left unhappy and without a gift for my mother in law. I will gladly drive to a different store. I’m sure my business there doesn’t affect...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. This was the closest location before the one inside HEB opened. I won’t ever come back here again. I visited the store on 8/26 to drop off some jewelry for cleaning and make a purchase. I had the unfortunate chance to be helped by Pamela. She had a bad attitude before I made it to the counter. I requested to have my pieces cleaned and asked about store credit for a necklace that was gifted to me. She immediately told me no that if I had no receipt she could not assist with that and continued to look up my information. She never looked at the necklace and she gave no further explanation. I checked the store policy and it states:Items being returned must be received with a receipt on or before the 365th day since purchase. After 365 days the items will need to be evaluated for saleable quality in order to receive a James Avery Gift Card or value to process an exchange. Pamela clearly doesn’t know the store policies or she chooses who and how she decides to help a customer. I’m glad that I have another location to visit and won’t ever have to deal...
Read morePeggy was cold and rude to me. She didn't greet me or even tried to be friendly, she snatched my receipt out of my hand and didn't even offer to give me a bag or box for my jewelry. The jewelry I got was for my mother's birthday... I walked off because I didn't think I needed to say anything else and she decides to say have a nice day in a passive aggressive tone. I called the 1800 line for james avery and I could not believe that Rene, was rude to me too. With the amount that people spend with james avery you would think there would be a level of customer service. To add insult to injury, although Alex was nice, she didn't not offer me compensation for the inconvenience I went through... I had to ask for compensation... they only gave me 25.00 lol please don't go to this james avery especially if your...
