Not happy at all with whoever manages to is place. My Daughter wanted to throw her birthday party here on their deck, It was at a great location, but unfortunately, we had tons of issues trying to get a hold of the Manager/person who runs this place. Once I figured out that they were only physically there on Fridays and Saturdays I called on a Thursday left a voicemail went up there. Friday called again left more voicemails received. No voicemails back knocked on several doors. Never got an answer, so I decided to come back the following day, Saturday, When I approached the door, no one was there. There was no sign on the door. I have other people tell me that they have had several problems trying to get a hold of whoever is running the Suwanee museum. They are not reliable or dependable, so I would not recommend trying to plan an event with this place, They do not answer their phone or return phone calls or voicemails and there is no one there Physically in the Building. Very...

This place is a gem. It has hundreds of piecesfrom days gone by. We walked through and the memories just came flooding in. It seemed like we had almost stepped back in time. They have rooms set up according to how it would have been in the old days. The ladies that were there were very pleasant and informative. If you're into railroad memorabilia or the old telephones, this place is a must see. The admission is free but after walking through this place I would hope you would feel generous enough to add a small affordabled donation or put a few bucks in the tip jar. They...

A historical heritage location which has been transformed from storing crops grown in the area and transported to locations in the nation to a museum of ancient artifacts, old documents, family heirlooms and country life as the community grew from a crossroads of the railroad tracks to the 5th largest inland city in 1880's to a thriving timber market. Several well known people such as Governor Drew, Sears of Sears and Roebuck, Dowling, Parshley, Dr Adams and many more have history documented in Suwannee Historical Museum free...

Wonderful experience and great collection of rich history. The rotating exhibit is very special and a great use of the entrance. The interactive train, working historical phones, and so much to enjoy in this space. Who knew the history of Edward Waters College. Great space!
