Live Oak Sub Shop — Restaurant in Live Oak

This is a great sub shop. The food was excellent. It isn't fast food so don't expect it to be a quick bite. I loved the place. It was my first time there and I can't say enough about the food. I only have one complaint and it's kind of a dumb one but here it is...we decided to eat there at like 2pm, clearly the lunch rush was over. They have a drive thru so we decided to use it instead of unloading 3 adults and my two-year-old. There was one car in front of us so we waited. We tried calling the number on the sign out front as we waited to see if we call the order in first to help move things along but the number wasn't connecting. After about 15 minutes of waiting the car in front moves and it's our turn to order. Or so we thought. The lady at the window tells us that we have to call the order in then wait and pick it up at the window. There was no one behind us in line, we just waited 15 minutes on the car in front of us and we are at the window so let me get this right...you want me to pull back into the empty parking lot to call you on the phone to tell you my order when I'm talking to you face to face right now? We tried to call. She gave us a menu that we could fill out and a phone number to call it in on. I have a two-year-old strapped into a carseat, who by this time, is trying her hardest to find a way out of the carseat because we have been sitting still. She thinks she should be able to get out. So she starts off by saying she is stuck but 20 minutes into our visit and she is screaming "I'm stuck" and we haven't even order yet. Needless to say, once we did get the food it was extremely good and all the orders were correct. I recommend anyone wanting subs to try this place. Just call your order in...

Second time going there first time wasn’t the greatest thought I’d try again maybe try a different option. Expensive for what u pay for. Both time I asked for cheese which I didn’t know was extra and never got it. Got a mini with chips and small drink cost me 10.12 which to me subway is better and I can pay that much for a combo and share it between three. Also young lady at front was being a little rude didn’t asked me what all I wanted on it and when she asked what chips I looked to see and could tell she was getting frustrated. Called manager she was very nice and said I wouldn’t pay for cheese next time which no offense to her but I won’t be going again. Really love supporting local shops hate they lost my...

The food there is great, and this may sound a bit peculiar, but ones surroundings should they dine in, should be a bit less personal than this place. These owners have made it a shrine unto themselves, and I promise you, even as an avid sportsman myself, NOBODY wants to eat their meal under the gaze of taxidermied deer heads. And ease off of the family photos ...these belong in your home, not a restaurant. Nobody but you knows these people really, anyway,....it would give you the impression these owners think they are special and that everyone won't mind gazing upon their personal pictures and dead deer. Just saying?...
