Theory Livermore Outlet — Local services in Livermore

I have shopped Theory for decades and was happy to see the outlet store included when they opened in Livermore. However after my last experience, sadly I will return to the regular store or large department stores if I need Theory going forward. I purchased over $1100 worth of items including 3 sweaters, 3 pair of pants and on a whim at checkout- a collarless blazer to go with a pair of pants. Everything went home into my closet where I look at how they work with my current wardrobe. I decided against the collarless jacket -thinking it would go better with cropped pants and brought it back to the store to return within 8 days of purchase-tags intact-never worn. I never even tried it on as I didn’t like the look. There the sales rep started going over the jacket -called the manager over and he promptly told me that they would never have sold this jacket in this condition-that I must have done something to cause a smudge on the faux front pocket. Furthermore it looked to them that it had been worn. While I know sone people wear and return there are tell tale signs of this -such as wrinkles in the sleeves. This jacket was exactly as it was taken out of the tissue. Given this was the managers response, I had no recourse and left with the blazer, which I guess I will try to sell at consignment. My suggestion is if you consider purchasing ANYTHING from this store-go over each item with a fine tooth comb. You will not be given the benefit...

Part of me does not want to write this review for fear of more people finding out about this place. I am theory-obsessed and buy most of (basically all of) my work clothes from here and even some of my more casual clothes. I always receive compliments on my dresses and outfits at work!! The quality, fit, and designs are amazing and the prices here are much better than theory sales at the department store.

My sister, boyfriend, and I went here over July 4th weekend so there was an extra 25% off of everything! Awesome! We were sad that we couldn't use the 10% (or 15%) from the VIP coupon book in combination with the extra 25 but it was still a good deal. Most of the clothes are for women but there was a decent selection of male attire.

Customer Service: We were on our way back from Yosemite and dressed in athletic wear so one sales lady didn't offer to help us, probably because she didn't think we would buy anything. Omar immediately greeted us and let us know that he could help us with designs, put clothes in a fitting room etc... He was really great and came to check on us and brought us all the sizes we needed. That other sales lady only tried to help us once she saw all the clothes we were picking out ... and then looked pretty sad at the commission she lost when we checked out. Don't judge a book by...

I'm a huge fan of Theory -- they have great quality clothing with elegant, minimalistic design. I'm always excited to see what new styles they have for the next season.

Over the years, I've gone to dozens of Theory stores and outlets, but none of them can hold a candle to this one. I met Austin Coakley about three years ago and whenever I see him in the store, he has always taken his time to personally come say hi to me and welcome me back. It is definitely no surprise that he is the store manager. He goes above and beyond for his customers and has grown such an amazing culture within this store.

Beyond the entire team here always being so personable, I appreciate that they are so knowledgeable about all of the clothing. Each member of the team knows how each cut or style fits and always makes great recommendations when I have questions. Brandon Canela is my go-to person in the store for style! He is such a genuine person and I appreciate that he gives me specific style tips and suggestions which help me put together pieces I want to buy. He has an exceptional eye and I attribute all my outfit compliments to him!
