Don't get me wrong, I love Bobbie Gentry Niki Hoeky song and I was hoping the store would be as unique as the song, but I wasn't favorably enjoying the items sold. This is what you call an antique farmhouse decor store and they sell just that. The only thing I didn't spot was Jadeite to match the mix.
There was one booth in particular that had some Avon glass decanters and figurines, every price on the tag was $10. If you go to any other antique shoppe, that price wouldn't match. There was some kitschy home decor that I considered buying, but the price wasn't right and the items here are more novelty to look at.
Even the black and white photos of random people were $3 a piece. Most of them were not actual photos, but postcards that were ripped off of a host site. The "antique" store was more of a co-op shop for a photo booth.
I noticed a round table that was affordable, but even the chairs sold separately for the "set".
The store cashier didn't appear friendly to out of towners, but boy didn't I hear him greeting everyone else in the store and even the locals with a smile. Now, if you can't show hospitality across the board to everyone then this shop isn't my cup of tea.
