Extremely Poor Service and Quality Control Over the past 6 months, we have installed two awnings from this company (the same owning and manufacturing company), and unfortunately, our experience has been consistently disappointing.

Poor Customer Service and Communication From the beginning, the company’s customer service has been unresponsive and unreliable. During the first order, after the representative came to take all the measurements and help select the material, he forgot which material was chosen when the order was placed. The installation of the first awning was delayed by several weeks with little to no proactive communication.

Inconsistent Installation and Poor Workmanship When it came time to install the second awning, the salesperson explained clearly how it would be installed to match the first one. However, the installation crew did not follow the same method, resulting in a visible gap between the two awnings, through which sun light now enters. Additionally, the two awnings are not level, giving an uneven and unprofessional appearance.

Manufacturing Defect and Lack of Accountability One of the awnings was installed with the wrong screw, causing it to shift out of position and become badly deformed. The company later admitted that the factory used the wrong screw, but despite acknowledging their mistake, they have been unable to repair it for over eight weeks. Every two weeks, I receive another excuse for why they cannot come to fix their own error. When they finally came, they still did not bring the correct screw, even though I had sent photos and detailed information about the problem in advance.

Unresolved Damage Due to the faulty screw, the awning frame is now damaged. This is unacceptable given that the damage was a direct result of their own manufacturing error.

Conclusion Based on this repeated pattern of poor customer service, lack of organization, manufacturing errors, and failure to take responsibility, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. They clearly lack sufficient staff, proper coordination, and quality control both in their sales and...

This project was the most smooth and positive experiences I've ever had with any contractor or construction company. Rich and the folks at Wind works did a superb job on the pergola they installed in my backyard. From the very early design stages, to the customization options they walked me through, down tot he personal touch from Rich himself, I immediately felt I was in good hands.

There were tons of challenges here, including delivery through a tight space, installation within a confined area, and coordination with two other projects happening in the backyard at the same time. These guys handled it all extremely professionally, were a joy to watch and get to know, and they took care of our property as though it were their own.

In the years since the original installation, the quality of the work has stood up superbly. When a couple of minor issues came up, Rich & his team were there to address them and come up with solutions that work & stood the test of time. Their communication throughout the process, and in the years since, shows a commitment to the quality of their work and the pride they take in the projects that they deliver. Where do I begin? My family was looking for a replacement awning on an existing manual awning. No organization wanted to deal with a manual awning; everyone wanted to replace or make us buy an automatic one. We were simply not in the market for that.
