Should be no stars. I went there, in pain, letting them know length of symptoms, along with i had been running a low grade fever for days. I hope they read this, to better help someone else. They never ordered any blood work (which would have shown I had a serious problem). I stated I felt like my symptoms matched diverticulitis. They stated that was impossible, since I didn't have diverticulosis 1.5 years ago during colonoscopy. So they gave me meds for spasms, and sent me home. Thank God I had an appointment with my gastrointestinal Dr a few days later. Who did blood work, which showed I had infection, and who also ordered a scan, which showed I did in fact have diverticulitis. This can be a life threatening diagnosis. Thank God I was put on two different antibiotics for 10 days ordered by my gastrointestinal Dr. But this could have been addressed several days earlier if the doctor at Urgent Care would have at the bare minimum, ordered blood work. They did nothing to heal me, caused my healing to be postponed, and thankfully didn't put me in the hospital to treat this! I was also a cash paying patient, not sure if that was the reason the doctor didn't order more tests. But she also commented on my eyes, because I had premium lens replacement last year, and yes, paid out of pocket for it. We discussed the benefits of it, and cost. So this doctor should have been aware that i had the abilty to afford health care out of pocket. Very disappointed with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first walked in I was greeted by the kindest smiles from Daisy and Stacy, which meant a lot because I went in right before closing so you would expect them to want to go home but instead they cared about the patient more (me) and you don't see that alot now a days. I was taken back and seen quickly by Np Catherine. She was wonderful from listening to everything that was going on and even helping me get more medication to last long enough to go see my specialist. Before this I went and saw a different urgent care in san marcos that said it was just allergies. But this urgent care actually listened and it turned out I had an ulcer (I found out after my endoscopy). They gave me a gI cocktail to help with my pain and when I was nervous MA Deisy, and MA Stacy were there to calm my nerves. They let me sit there until I felt well enough to leave. Mind you they were already closed by this point and was so calm about having to stay later on my behalf. I felt well taken care of and would recommend this place to family friends you name it! They deserve a pay raise or a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReceived very good care as they listen to what I had to say and how I felt. Treated very respectfully, not minimizing my feelings or how Ifelt. very much appreciated Catherineās care and hope to see her if I ever need to go back to Urgent Care again. Also appreciate very much the printout of my summary of my care and condition as well as the instructions on how to make myself well. Have a tendency to forget all the details here I can reread them in detail. Very much appreciate that . While I was there, an older woman with her elderly mother came in for services, but was unable to get treated because they had VA insurance and would have to travel quite a distance to go find an urgent care clinic that would accept that insurance. Thought it was rather sad . So would recommend you might want to widen out in your insurance services to include VA insurance. Thanks again for a great service and...
