Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Lockhart

Cannot get though to the owners of this restaurant. The manager on duty was avoiding my issue. Went to dinner and ordered fajitas Monterrey and the Vallarta plate, tea and water. The waitress keep rubbing her forehead and when asked what was wrong she indicated that she was coming down with something. This was stressful because she was handling our dishes and tortillas, fresh lemons. The reason for the fajitas Monterrey was because they delicious and have mushrooms. I asked to cut the serrano peppers and instead there was not one mushroom. I asked the waitress what happened and she indicated that she has asked to hold the pico. Nevertheless I ask for my bill and it was $40+. I still tipped 20% but was very disappointed that the manager would not come and speak to me about the issue. Instead he stood afar intimidating the waitress making pointing gestures at her and pointing for her to move on. She then brought me a another plate of fajitas without the fajita fixings, these were correct but I indicated that I did not want another order. All I wanted was for them to be aware that my order was incorrect maybe 1 or 2% off my plate for NO MUSHROOMS and acknowledgment so that this would not happen again. When I went to the front to speak to the manager on duty, he seeming restless and kept sniffling. I asked him he was aware of what happened and he replied that the waitress mentioned something was wrong. He further added that everything was her fault for not knowing the menu and that she would have to pay for the extra fajitas that she brought me. I am simply disgusted and disappointed at his offensive, discourteous, insolent and lack of professionalism. I felt bad for the waitress so I paid for the extra fajitas which made my bill $66+. Yet I check my card and I was charged a total of $80 for undesirable and unpleasant service and an incorrect order. I contacted the restaurant several times and each time they indicted that the owners were not available. I got charged double simply because I did not get the mushrooms. They used to be on point and delicious but I'm done for a while. I pray they get their ducks in a row and stop...

OSCAR will ruin your dining experience! The food is great and I’ve been dining here for over a year now. Today, unfortunately, I brought some new guest along with an elderly woman. I was so embarrassed by how Oscar treated her and almost made her cry. He continued to harass her about a communication issue with an order. He came back multiple times to the table, pointing at the menu, even speaking in Spanish to her and not outright English to try and make her understand better!! By then the issue was already corrected. There was no reason for him to continue to come to the table and harass any of us. Up to the time we left he continue to try and point out her mistake in front of everyone! I felt so bad for her. I finally had to tell him to please stay away and leave us all alone because he ruined our dining experience and we just want to leave! I love coming to this restaurant, but we couldn’t even eat in peace without him glaring at us the entire time! It was very embarrassing for us and all of the staff. I feel bad for the people who have to work with him on a daily basis! I run a business myself, and I would never treat customers and the same manner that he treated this poor elderly woman today. We went to celebrate a couple of birthdays tonight and it took forever just to get drinks. Then forever to get food ordered. We only one basket of chips and salsa. For 7 people. Later they brought another basket, but they were colder than the first basket... And this is a Saturday night. Then when we finally get our drinks, they brought a BROKEN wine glass. With a huge crack up the side. That easily could have shattered. Then they don't bring us enough glasses for the pitcher of beer we ordered, not enough utensils for the party, not enough plates. They made people sitting on opposite sides and opposite ends of the table share out of one tortilla basket. When they finally brought the food, they brought a one year old some RAW chicken tenders. Like legit RAW.... Nice and crispy on the outside, but totally RAW on the inside. If it weren't for the chicken getting cut into bite sized pieces and it getting noticed, he would have gotten super sick from that!!! Then we tried to get a manager and there wasn't a manager.
