Z Nail Spa — Local services in Lombard

I know it looks like you are saving $15 or $20 with Groupon but the experience is the worst!! They don’t understand half of the things you are saying because there is only one main reception lady who can under and speaks broken English (if you don’t believe me call them right now to book an appointment before cashing in the Groupon) they are loud when they speak amongst themselves!! The ambiance is so bad !! No music no good fragrance! No happy faces and then it makes you question like was it worth saving those $20. I still went there second time and it was still the worst. There were people Complaining coz they were over booked! One lady started putting on nail polish befor the manicure started and side will need $10 for manicure. I wouldn’t have written this review but when I visited 2nd time I was booked for arm waxing and the lady knew nothing. She measure my arm length and started cutting cotton stripes off a roller and then she started plucking my leftover hair with twizzler when I asked what is she doing coz it started bleeding like ligit blood and then she said she won’t charge me for the 1/4 arm she waxed !! I was so mad and feeling vulnerable. She once applied wax on my hand left to pick a call coz she is the only English speaking staff there!! It’s not worth saving $10 I promise!! Don’t waste your valuable hard earned...

Omg LOVE THIS PLACE‼️. I was so loyal to my other nail shop( coco nails) until they changed workers and became a HORRIBLE experience for me.

Then someone told me of this Amazing Shop with Phoebe & Corina and I Must Say I LOVE IT!!! and I tip each time. They are so patient, kind and truly detail to picture of nails you want and they will give you their professional advice for your nails( take their advice or not they don’t get offended), So I say to others step out of your comfort zone and try them. My experience with Z Nail Spa is a blessing, they make you feel comfy & respected. I started off with a manicure, then nail tips, But now my own nails have grown out where I don’t need artificial nails( just an overlay of my natural nails) Thanks. I appreciate you all and may God continue to bless your business. Anyone who knows me know I must like this place because I don’t usually leave reviews for any kind of Business, yet I Pray that Z nail spa & the workers continue be their amazing selves. Ive come here multiple times the nail designs are decent, but my very last experience with acrylic nail removal and eyebrow waxing was disappointing on my last visit. I had asked MULTIPLE times for my acrylics to be SOAKED off, but because it was time-consuming for the techs—even on a slow day at 11 AM on a Tuesday—they still talked like idont understand the language and proceeded to TEAR OFF my acrylics with a nail tip, which is so damaging and uncomfortable, plus ive been trying ro grown my regular nails under and that nail remiving technique broke half of them. I am more than willing to pay for the soak-off, wait for the full service I requested, and i always tip generously, so I don’t understand why my request was ignored.

Also, I’ve had my eyebrows done here twice, and both times, they removed so much from the center that my brows look overly separated. Just after the nail removal experience, idont think im coming back. Also with the nail tips they add for full sets are the old school ones that curve down i prefer the straight already coffin shaped ones....
