This is a great no frills casual place to have a simple meal. Everything is made fresh and portions are generous. They offer so many specials. If you go before noon, some plates are $1 - $3!!! Also has several weekday plate specials $4.99 (as of 10/16/21 the date of this review). The chicken biryani we ordered was packed enough for 2 people easily and had plenty of chicken pieces. They actually have several kinds of Biryani not just chicken. The puri's with the halva were more like batoori's (thicker and tastier than puri's - see my picture) and a good size. The egg omelette paratha platter was very good as well. We really loved the shami's. They had a very good flavor and they used a good amount of beef in them. We also took home a dozen tandoori naan as they only charge $1 each and are the same size as all the restaurants that over charge! Great casual place to eat or take out. Great variety of items for everyone including vegetable and meat dishes. Owner is super friendly and cares that you enjoy the food.

This is the suburban location of their main branch on Devon Ave. If you like the location and the food on Devon Ave you will love this one. Exact same menu of Pakistani and Indian halal food. They are open late and located in a strip mall off a busy street and have plenty of parking. They have fast food style setup. You will place the order at the front counter and pay on the spot. Once the food is ready they will call out your order and you can pick it up. They have a decent seating area. I would rate their food in decent to good range. Their prices are the best when it come to the Desi food. Fr example their chicken biryani is $7 with a generous portion size. Something similar at their competitor May cost you $12. In addition to the chicken biryani I would also recommend their chili chicken. While you are there make sure to order the pratha along with naan.

Place was clean in the front but there was a leak from a cooler where we ordered. When Eating in though, (Picture attached) it was filthy. I have been too plenty of restaurants that aren't the clean but this is the worst I've seen yet. Service was very simple but lacking. Food is a coin toss, My Gyro dish was good and I would have it again if I were ever to come back, but the buttered chicken was bland but still good enough to keep. their Garlic naan was rather mediocre too but the solid positive if it all is the proportions. Even the naan was huge. Over all I'd say NEVER eat in, if you're in a pinch $30 will keep you fed for 3-4 dinners here. If it were just cleaner most of the issues most likely have been better received. The shawarma place next door though a little more expensive just looks leagues better.

Me and my cousins drove from Kentucky and got here late last night. We decided to stop by here and try this place out and boy was that a mistake…. We ordered a stale nihari, whoops I meant beef nihari, and an order of food color chicken, oh I meant to say butter chicken. The beef boti in the nihari was suuper dried out and stale, and the actual nihari itself seemed like it had been sitting there all week and that they decided to take the nihari and fry it in a bunch of oil (super greasy, stale & old tasting). Moving onto the food color chicken, ugh silly me, I mean butter chicken. It was average at best, but it had so much food coloring in it that I could wash my hands for a week straight and still have enough food coloring left to play Holi. The nihari was so bad that one of my cousin’s and I immediately felt sick after eating it and have had terrible diarrhea since eating it last night. On the flip, once complained to the lady at the register, she offered something else, but didn’t care to try anything else after this experience. She then offered a refund for the nihari, which I refused since this wasn’t about the money, but she insisted to take the money back. One last note, if you think the food is bad, wait till you get to the bathroom. The bathroom will make you more sick than the food itself imho.

I personally will not be going back, nor will I recommend to anyone. The customer service was nice and friendly, but apart from that nothing good came...

I usually order naan from them so last time I order the naan from them last month and told the guy Ibrahim not to give burnt naan like last time and when my daughter picked up naan he was kind of mean and very unpleasant and very rude to my daughter and my day was literally was very angry and said she will never go in there and I was there today order naan over the phone last time the naan was burnt so I told the guy over the phone and went inside to pick up the naan and asked the guy Ibrahim who was on the counter that the have fresh nihari and he said yes and just to confirm next some times they make it day before and say it’s fresh so I asked him once again so he answered very abruptly and very rudely it it’s fresh I will say it’s fresh and listening to his tone of voice I said to him I’ll complain about him to the Manager who is super nice lady and he told me I can complain to her or the owner he doesn’t care. I am going to this location since this location is opened and there are such good people who works there and had always been good experience. With experience with this Ibrahim guy I am requesting the owner to take some action...

The restaurant seating area and public spaces overall, including the bathrooms are absolutely unsanitary. The tables are all dirty and sticky from previous guests. The bathroom door knob felt sticky and unclean and the floor had used napkins scattered around. There was a clear leak from the sink that made the floor wet near the vanity. Nearly every touch point, including the windows are dirty and in need of cleaning. The place is just beat.

The food had great flavor but almost all of it was served lukewarm. We waited for about 15 minutes after ordering, so it was a surprise to find that the food was not extremely hot as I presumed it was made fresh to order. The rice was dry/old/cold tasting, and the samosas were also cold/dry.

At the end of the meal, I was honestly somewhat concerned for my health as it was clear the restaurant was not clean in the public spaces and most of the food was not served hot. Perhaps it had been left out and the temperature was not maintained? Maybe it was refrigerated but then microwaved for not long enough? Very...
