Everyone loves Dillard's, but this particular Dillard's didn't get any of my money because it was NOT wheelchair accessible. I should have the same freedom to wheel around and look at clothes as a person that is walking. It was unfortunate that I had a very embarrassing moment because we almost knocked over a rack of clothes trying to move it so my wheelchair could fit through and I could get out of the maze that they had set up. I entered one area that was actually wide enough for my small manual wheelchair 🦽 but once I got in there we had to move racks just to find a way out and then exit the clothing area. Of course the store is clean and the associates were kind, but when we asked for help getting out, every associate that was just in that area, went ghost on us! I won't be back. If I can't look at the items I want to purchase, then I won't be back. But I'm just one person out of millions of others and they will gladly spend their...
Read moreThe ladies in the handbag area were friendly, and made me feel comfortable; I was looking for a purse/black sandals for a birthday gift to myself. The ladies in the shoe department act snooty and stuck up. It's been several times I've been in there (I'm a black woman) and they looked at me like I had something on me. They've rolled their eyes, stuck their noses in the air, and greeted their White counterparts. I gladly took my business to the other part of the store because the shoe department workers are too racist acting for me; they didn't greet me at all ( not this time or times before). And they wonder why certain people choose not to shop in certain areas. I'm always treated with respect in purses, men's, and especially women's & men's cologne; guess who will get our business, those areas will. Dillard's really need to have some talks with their women shoe department workers. To each his/her own, but I shop where I'm made to...
Read moreWe were at Dillard's on Feb 15th purchasing my husband some Jean Paul cologne when an older lady approached us at the counter my husband was asking questions such as do you have this in a smaller bottle etc. etc. The associate looked over at him with a reply "I'm not sure this isn't my area, I'm trying to close my register down the store is about to close!" We of course got the hint so we tried to hurry along considering I work in retail and know what it's like to want to go home. So he asked her another question and got the same reply but with more attitude Sir! "like I said I'm not sure this isn't my area, I'm just trying to close my register the store is about to close!" you don't treat people like that it's rude that's why I give Dillard's 2 stars please work on your customer service...
